Best tame for late game battles on PVE. Can outrun most ground creatures even other players tamed when used right. I've been chased by 6 playered tribe on Saber, Baryonyx and Gallimimus but managed to escape because of my level 268 Procoptodon named Bert. They can jump from cliffs and doesn't take damage from the fall like a champ. And the knockback of these guys are great too.

Gather berries with it. Still able to move forward once its overencumbered with its kick-attack.

I found out, purely by ACCIDENT, that this kangaroo can carry ADULT Ovis —tamed only, of course, but my point remains. It can also carry adult Kairuku (again, found that out purely by accident).

These guys are just… perfect to the left, right, up, down, PERFECT. I just tamed these guys and I collected big amount of rare mushrooms and rare flowers. Please add an indicator how often you can imprint babys of each type while sitting in the pouch. Maybe in the breeding tab of each creature.

They're pretty great in harvesting berries wood and thatch. Had to chase mine down a while, because you can not Bola or pick one up with an Argentavis anymore.

Put a lystro in its pouch. Have a tribe mate ride it and follow to quickly level it while hunting on your big Dino's. If you're solo just set it to follow on an ample distance for solely leveling the hunter.

How high they jump varies on where you are looking when you jump

Huge jumps, fast, knock back kick attack, can harvest berries, Put babies in the pouch to get double imprint, hold y and pick up your baby :D very useful definitely recommend taming them 9/10

Shadows can be put in to pouch for more imprint even tho it says it can’t

Great for metal runs or to get around the map happy hunting

You need a breeding pair for the female to be able to raise babies in it's pouch.

Use this mate to get your scarab beetles across great distances and they’re very good at getting berries! Their kick attack hits a wider area than you think :D

META GAME: take one of these to Genesis Ocean biome on any island there and start farming berries with left click, it does a front kick which moves forward and can keep moving even with full weight, if you need to change facing direction just use a whip. Afterwards you can use a raft to go to Wave Ray 64 mission to transfer if you are based on another map. There you go, the actual best way to gather berries in the game.

Procoptodon is broken as breeding/imprint aid when holding juveniles/adolescents will glitch out 50 percent of the time resulting in juv/ado unable to to eat from trough and dying of starvation. I lost 2/4 Deinonychus and 1 Otter to this as of 17 Apr 2021
