Find a Procoptodon in wooded or redwood areas, lure it into a sturdy trap with a rare flower, and secure it before tranquilizing it with arrows or darts. Once unconscious, feed it rare mushrooms and monitor its torpor with narcotics or biotoxin; after taming, it can eat regular berries.
Using him in the damp for rare marshrooms, a better food than the meat since it doesn't spoil and give more food points.
He can jump high and fast, good for escaping from enemies and moving while farming stuff since you can use tools when you're riding Jim. Just increase weight and speed.
