You can’t bola them It really sucks

I was eyeing one of these on the northwest beech and when an allocoarace started chasing it I didn’t hesitate to shoot it with a double barrel and might I just say it was worth it

When you tranq it there’s a bloody baby sticking up from underneath it, which means we kill the baby so we can enter the pouch. :(

Unless ark is bugged, normal bolas do NOT work.

Taming with mushrooms on a lvl 116 is taking a lot of narcotic- dododex says none needed. So just keep an eye on that.

I tamed mine by trapping it under my wyvrens wing..once i finally got him stuck in the wing i got off wyvren and tranq him with crossbow..feed Rare flowers and have Narcotics handy if he eeds more torper to finish taming.

When taming one if you are using rare flowers they can fit through double doors I didn't know that that kangaroo got so mad it was ready🤣

I have never tamed but I would use billboards to trap and tranq if you are in a position we’re they run then put the billboard wile it’s still. Do not bola you will just waist a bola trust me

Spend hours searching for one

Bola it

Knock it with arrows

Bring more mushrooms then you think you will need

Same with narcotics (double it or triple)

Use balm if you have it if it is a high level and you don’t want to wait

I usually find one or two in the center of redwoods on island mobile map grab them with argy and put them in a little cage thing and I would usually run out and gather rare mushrooms:TIP:Iguanadons gather rare mushrooms very well!:then knock them out with trauq darts or wooden bat then use bio toxin to keep them asleep:TIP:Bio toxin works better then narcotics!

In mobile you can still bola and pick them up with argies

Just use the net gun and you can easily tame it!

you need mushrooms to tame it. And they so fun!

So the best way I found to tame them are by making 3 wooden billboards and putting one in front of it, then putting the other 2 in a triangle like shape surrounding the Dino. No rare flowers needed

2 shots from tanq arrow and feed it rare mushrooms or rare flowers. Rare mushrooms can be mined from crystals and Theriz is good for gathering rare flowers

They spawn on the bottom of a mountain see a griffin you’ll find a kangaroo the location coordinates are LAT 37.9 LONG 71.2 also I was not looking for a kangaroo I was looking for a griffin😂

Araneo is useful for taming this. Use webs to slow it to a reasonable speed, and then follow it while mounted shooting darts. Make sure to occasionally re-web it.

I tamed mine quite easily by eating a rare flower and tranq darting it.
