Use a argy to pick it up and put it in a trap

I tame them by riding a horse and shooting it with crossbow and tranq arrows. Have only done it at lvl 20 and lvl 25 they took between 4 and 8 arrows. The kangaroo is much faster then a horse so it will get away at times. I even had that it stopped running away from me for it got so far away from me so i shot it again and the kangaroo will get knocked out even though that happens as long it does not go to long

Just found one about 10ish minutes ago and successfully knocked it out and it got stuck in the ice chunk and had to tranq it there some mantas came up and and killed and ate it I'm pissed 😔

These guys are really fast and will escape if your not prepared make sure to bring a bola or something that can stop it from moving bring lots of narcotics and bring a petrodon just in case.

Bola and knock them out :) feed rare mushrooms or plant x seeds and you should be good to go once tamed they only prefer those things I just use tranqs and they can be picked up my Argys on mobile

Tip: rare flower don’t work that well..well at least for me..so if you’re in single player doing this just pick it up by and argentiva or something and put in a trap have it 2 by 2 it will work than just punch it :3. Worked for me. (But if you can’t carry it. Than if there is a stone or something in front of it that it can’t jump over just punch it that way and it will get stuck and you keep punching it from the back until it’s unconscious.

This was one of my first tames. Just bola it, pump tranqs, shove plant X seeds in it’s floofy little muzzle, and cuddle it. It isn’t a waste due to the cuteness factor.

You’ll always find one getting bullied by gang of predators. Use argent to rescue it if you want to tame one.

I play mobile and I’ve found that they tend to spawn midway up mountains on The Island

1 make a trap (I don’t know how to make one :/)

2 keep chasing until stuck on rock

3 if you can bring him/her away from redwoods (they will most likely get killed there)

1 Can keep babies in its pouch

2 Can literally jump from 99999 metres high and be fine

One way to tame without traps or rare flowers

Get a beelzebufo, chase it down and hit it. Best way to keep up with procoptodon. It was moving fast but beelzebufo covers it with a jump. Just did it a few minutes ago

It ran from near smugglers peak to a river side and fell unconscious, it was a safe spot with only 3 raptors busy fighting trikes at that moment at some distance. With rare mushrooms and waiting a few minutes I had it tamed.

It was fun!!! Chasing!!!

Don't forget rare mushroom and some narcotics.

How do you make the baby’s get inside the pouch? Cause I have the cutest baby equs called rage and it would really help me.

Watch out it’s torpor drains kinda fast I was taking one and didn’t have enough muschrooms so I teleported to bog for some rare mushroom and when I came back from only three minutes it was awake again so beware

Best to use rare flowers with a walk in trap made of wood with a roof that’s what I did and it worked well

It is affected by bola on mobile. I even tried it out to make sure on a wild one and it worked.
