If your struggling to find them- they are found at The Red Peak in the redwood forests. This is a massive risk because of thylas, be careful happy camper!

If you're having troubles with taming it, and you for some reason don't have rare flower, then you can try waiting until it stops jumping and place a tent on it which should block it sometimes inside of it, then surround it with spike walls, then knock it out.

Ive carried these guys with wyverns before,yet it says on here that shouldn't be possible.

I used a Thyla to chase it down. Since you can shoot from the back of the Thyla without dismounting, and the Thyla can jump like crazy the way to roo does, it helped being fast enough to keep up with it.

They can be found on snow area on mobile they are super rare tho. But they do spawn near mammoths 1/8 times if you see pair of mammoths.

It says its torpor drain is average but it’s not it drops fast. The good thing is you don’t have to feed it much narcotics to keep it knocked out

This is definitely my favourite land mount. Super fast with amazing weight. It also can carry two people and you can shoot off it.

For easy tame find one that has a baby and when you attack the parent she will not run instead she will defend the baby making it easier to hit head shots with tranqs

Go to this area in the Island, quite a few procoptodons spawn there!

Easy way to tame a procoptodon:

1.Build 4 wooden signposts

2. find a procoptodon.

Wherever procoptodons are, Spino’s or rexes are nearby.

3. Find a safe place (volcano crater, your base, cliffs)

4. Put down three sign posts

5. Use an Argy to carry the Procoptodon to the signposts.

5. KO with tranqs.

6. Feed rare mushrooms and Narcotics

Boom! Now you have a prehestoric kangaroo!

I’ve found multiple.. ALWAYS. carry rare mushrooms or plant species X seeds with you… I’ve been heartbroken so many times cuz I accidentally kill them with my griffin/argent.

The procoptpdon,gives a boost on weight

They don't only eat rare flowers they also eat rare mushrooms!

If your playing valguero you can find these things in the white cliffs

Their kick collects hundreds of berries per attack they’re way better than the other Bertie collectors

Can still be carried by argents on switch

How to trap tame:

- have 3 billboards (wood is cheapest) and 6 wooden spike traps

- have them ready to place

- kangaroo stops, place billboards in a triangle orientation blocking off the path ahead of it FIRST as it takes longer to turn around

- knock out and place spike traps around openings leaving room to walk in

- when done destroy spike walls and billboard or cryopod out

For mobile players mid game…i used my argent to pick it up and carry it back to my base. I dropped it inside my base which is three fences tall, four would have been better tho. Rare flowers didn’t work for me to get it into a billboard trap (and the argent randomly drops it for some reason if I touch the billboard) so instead I just tranqed it inside my base. Took me three tranq darts for a level 14. I used rare mushrooms and a few bio toxins to tame and it went well! Make sure you put your other tames on neutral when tranqing so you don’t kill it accidentally, as well as keep it fenced up because it runs pretty fast

Do not use bear traps it holds them for 2 seconds just get 4 billboards and place 3 in a square and eat a rare mushroom it will come to you and place the 4th billboard and then crawl under a traq in it
