If u hover above them in the ocean close to the surface they won't be able to get u because they want go but so high so just get tranq it intill it knocked out

The timer is off, it does not time the pleslosaur well. I noticed about a 2000 torpor difference 7000 on app. 5000 in game.... Be careful.

Tried to tame with 3.50. It wasn't enough

Me and my buddy just tamed a 145 by building a trap against our north tropical bubble. From there you can actually reach the plesiosaur from the inside and tame it using darts to speed up the torpor process. From there it's just a waiting game. You can pretty much use any trap that you can use for wyvernd. Behemoth gate frames and one gate or conservatively use one gateway and door and pillars and ceilings staggering it down so that if it swims more towards the bubble it'll be way easier to hit

These poor misunderstood plesiosaurs. When they go up to you, they try to give you a kiss but their huge teeth kill you instead. When taming, be sure to use the invisible depth barrier. They will only go up towards the surface if they are tamed.

Make sure that it's alone and thair is no squid and no other ones.

Have a water Dino to run if u get hurt

For those with a decent tuso, I've got one with 35.7k health. I just let it tank the hits and shot at the plesio(140) with tranq arrows and tkod it. Was really easy and quick.

If you’re on the center, go to the east water dome. There’s a small gap of water between the dome and the rest of the ocean where sea creatures can’t reach. The tricky part is when it starts running away after reaching a certain torpor level but this makes it a little easier.

The dodex says 0 sleep stuff but it took me like 30 jelly fish jelly and some around 20 narcotics

Finally, they have added a dino that I can finally call Nessie.

There is a air bubble near the Devils island, where a plesiosaur can still get agrod while you have a safe, air pocket, but the bubble distorts the outside slightly, so the easiest way to ko it is to go about 15 steps back so the plesiosaur will stand still over the bubble, if u find a spot to hit it, then just unload tranks intill it flees then, you will have to chase it and load 5 to 10 more tranks for ko

Also not only sarco are good but kapros are also super fast in water. I raced my friend’s high speed icthy and it almost beat it. They have better health too normally so I would use it. Up this if it was helpful👍.

If you want to tame one go to trilobite cave (with a saro and trap it head in the cave and knock it out that way then do what you wish (don’t attempt if you do not have a harpoon gun or cross bow)

By the time you discover this dino you should have a Basilosaurus, have it above Lv200 have your basilo with a strong saddle, clear waters off sharks and it's lower level mate, let your basilo sit above the plesi and start shooting.

Once down place 200 Neuro toxins

And your kibble, swim up to surface and wait for torpor to go down half, inject 80 neuros and go back up again, ride the plesi so you don't freeze to death and watch a movie, your tame will be ready in less than 50min.
