Encountering Tips
How do I kill a plesiosaur? plesiosaur battling strategies in ARK: Survival Evolved.
photo pursuit on solo: attack while on the Ichthyosaurus until it is very low health, it will not attack while you are on the mount. Then jump off to get the photo (the game will pause for photos in solo games) and return to game and quickly kill for added XP.
So the first time I saw one, I have already been playing ark for a few months and I'm like cool...they really are in Mobile.
Following real time day I am abused by two. I manage to kill them before they can kill me, okay, cool, got this.
BAM two more immediately behind them!!! Good thing I was on my basil...just barely survived the second attack
Found in the underwater cave along with ever alpha going
diplodocus of the sea no one can change my mind since they use their heads for fighting hahaha
A little difficult to tame but definitely worth it! I 100% recommend getting a plesiosaur I tamed a lvl 10 and its stats were very high! But if there're more than one make sure to kill one or separate them!
The most common place to find these guys is in the crystal isles in the Northwest corner of the map
Plesiosaur always spawns with a loved one
Amazing tip- do not try fighting these. Not only do they spawn in packs, their bite does 75 BASE DAMAGE
Was doing a picture mission on my meg (first time encounter) got destroyed because of some eels and lost my ascended pump action
Why the hell are they so goddamn rare on valguero? Same with Mosas and tusos
You can find 2-4 near underwater caves that are uninhabited.
I named it perro perro but if you counter this idk I just shot mine off my tapejara
I saw a group of 3 at the deep edge of the ocean on Cragg’s Island!
I have gotten fairly close to a few of them on an Ichthy and they didnt become hostile, do they not aggro when you are mounted or something?
Why no one say that this thing spawn in group..I mean it spawn 3 at one time :(
This looks like a mutated fish and scary at the same time.
Looks kinda like the beta version of Brontosaurus tbh
#bruceycomeback. .
The only god damn thing that attacks ichthyosaurus.
Good luck finding one of these they are quite rare
