ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion
Tips & Strategies
Fairly effective and safe way to knock most scary sea life:
Take a high lvl, high hp tame like a dunky, basil,or lvld mega
Find target and gain agro
Place “tank” between you and target.
Let target start munching while you attempt to land shots while it goes ham
The Adapter
The real weapon of these bad boys is it’s face. DO NOT GO CLOSE! it’s so ugly it’s nightmare fuel.
Always 2 near the east bubble under north tropical (the center)
4 behemoth gate frames and two doors did the trick for me. I got 2 knocked and killed the one that didn’t go in the trap. I used an angler to Agro into trap. I increased movement speed
If you have flippers on float up if they try to bite you they'll miss 80% of the time because they're stupid
To the person who was wondering where they spawn on the island they
Spawn near the edges of the map
Not once in all my time on the ark have I seen one alone, there are always two, unless you've already killed one, so watch out when taming, kill one and tame the other or tame both, just remember when you find one that another is probably nearby, ready to tear you to shreds.
It it's level is more than 100 you should go with 70 Arrow and I prefer you should use sarco to tame
If you're taming a level 97 with raw prime, you're gonna need about tree fiddy narcotics.
These Guys Will eat your Barry anytime of the day so watch out while exploring to an underwater cave
These guys lurk near Caves or deep waters, and won't follow up all the way up (unlike Tuso in mobile 0.0)
Get a fast creature that can surface quicker and wait for the Pleis to follow you until it loses interest. Use a crossbow with tranq arrows (or shocking arrows) for yopor. When it flees, keep doing it until unconscious. I use Sarco and Basilo for mine, and kept feeding both prime fish meat and BIO Toxins (for topor).
You're welcome world.
My tip for taming these things (on mobile) is get a manta and a basil to tank dmg crossbow toxicant tranq arrows use lazoris powder then when the plesiosaur begins to torp run get put your basil on neutral get on your manta and chase him down
Its damage comes from its head, so when fighting while mounted to a plesiosaur needs an aiming and distance as it's very long neck makes hitting very hard to aim not like itchy, megalodon etc. When a wild dino comes very near, reposition yourself as you won't damage them with the plesiosaurs body
Some one said there are no under water caves but I have seen about 7 out of 12 caves just wanted to let u know
I must say when I first saw one... Well let's put it this way the dodo I had for breakfast made a reapearance.🤮 They are very creepy faces!
