Why the hell are they so goddamn rare on valguero? Same with Mosas and tusos

The wets or Rez of the sea these animals are very tough and wake up fast as a tickle chicken

Pro tip use a tusotuthis to grab and have friend knock it out

Get a high stamina and speed megladon lure it to a above water rock to high for its neck and shoot some sort of trauque and shoot it

I decided to explore the ocean for the first time. All was fine and beautiful and then 2 of these speed demons were right behind me. I don't think I've ever had a bigger jumpscare. So word of advice, always look down :)

Some one have the answer to this help me. I went to two under water caves and attempted to tame animals. This large under water cave was attached to an above ground crystal cave. Glowing orange and had Bats,snails,acorpions etc. The underwater had sea animals. All the kinds that are hard to find Mozasaurs,Lepluradons,the scary squid. They were all greatly larger than normal and it wouldnt let me tame. Thwy would go unconscience no tame. Food correct in inventory just nothing. Gps 45.5,88.6 Let me know would love to bring home something. Ps bring a pack of Sharks its crazy hard in there.

For anyone who has trouble finding these or any other deep sea species on mobile, they usually don’t load until you reach the floor so if you use a species that is quite slow which would cause you to drown without special gear or can’t go very deep because they’ll take pressure damage like basilosaurus you’ll likely never see them. the best thing to do would be to use an ichtyosaurus as they are fast enough to allow you to dive all the way down, explore for maybe 5 seconds then reach the surface in time without using gear plus they are very easy to tame (though they have lost their ability to not get aggroed by anything so be careful)

Just incase your wondering it takes about 6 Tranq arrows with a master crafter crossbow do knock them out (Level 35)

Amazing tip- do not try fighting these. Not only do they spawn in packs, their bite does 75 BASE DAMAGE

I saw a group of 3 at the deep edge of the ocean on Cragg’s Island!

A 150 pleai takes 35 tranq darts not the 70 in the guide .

Tried the new tranq harpoon on a lvl 104, made 50 tranqs hit it about 46 times, still had to use 20 tranq arrows after I ran out. Best guess is you need about 55-60 tranq harpoons to do the trick.
