They tens to spawn around the underwater rock formations, using an Icthy (preferably Megalodon as it can tank a few hits and a high lvl can kill off Plesis you don’t want) you can get the Plesi stuck in narrow crevices at which point you can easily fire away at it as it pokes its head through the gap trying desperately to eat you.

Be warned Plesis will sometimes fake fleeing and will run away temporarily before turning back around and attacking just as you get close, much like an Angler.

Best to make a trip if you don't prepare to die

It says 3 kibble for a lvl 14 plesi, its a lie, had to use prime to tame it

I hate taming in water, but what I did was follow it on a megalodon. When it agros, swim up and go into orbit cam to look behind you. When it loses interest, take the shot. When it starts running, you can follow with an imprinted shark, hopping off everytime you get close.

Uh no they are the tapejaras of the ocean the mosa is the quetzal of the ocean

Lead one into a resource cave in the snow area of the island map mosasaurs can not fit in there so they will not kill your tame it is also a place where you can get out of the water and breath

I ride a sarco around and found there's a dept limit they would NEVER cross. I shot one up with tranq and it just sat there. Aren't these the dinos that breath air anyway?

Eat a rage flower near the plesiosaur. Then swim up to the top of the ocean it won’t be able to hit you. Because it’s so high up then what it is suppose to come up to. Just be careful of nearby fish and other Dino’s when using the rage flower.

When I tamed mine it seamed to love swimming into rocks so I just filled him with tranq arrows and killed all the anglerfish.

If u have tuso grab it and take it to some behemoth gates, if u dont just hover above it and shoot it and chase it if it runs away

If you havn't made an underwater trap get a high level sarco pump health put a good saddle on it and tranq it off the back of the sarco as you can have you crossbow out while mounted

If you or anyone else that trusts you have a tusotuethis (giant squid), you can grab ahold of it and knock in out in the tuso’s tentacles making it an easy ko. To do this you would need to have atleast 2 people.

If u hover above them in the ocean close to the surface they won't be able to get u because they want go but so high so just get tranq it intill it knocked out

The timer is off, it does not time the pleslosaur well. I noticed about a 2000 torpor difference 7000 on app. 5000 in game.... Be careful.

Tried to tame with 3.50. It wasn't enough

Just bring a megalodon and find the height barrier.

Me and my buddy just tamed a 145 by building a trap against our north tropical bubble. From there you can actually reach the plesiosaur from the inside and tame it using darts to speed up the torpor process. From there it's just a waiting game. You can pretty much use any trap that you can use for wyvernd. Behemoth gate frames and one gate or conservatively use one gateway and door and pillars and ceilings staggering it down so that if it swims more towards the bubble it'll be way easier to hit

These poor misunderstood plesiosaurs. When they go up to you, they try to give you a kiss but their huge teeth kill you instead. When taming, be sure to use the invisible depth barrier. They will only go up towards the surface if they are tamed.

Make sure that it's alone and thair is no squid and no other ones.
