Tips & Strategies

What are tips for parasaur? Tips and strategies for parasaur in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
This is a great first tame! They are easy to tame and useful, both as a pack animal, a detector and starter mount. Use right click (IDK what it is for Mobile and Console, sorry) to scan for enemies while on it, or set it to turret mode while stationary. Level weight and movement speed for a pack animal, and for a mount level stamina and movement speed. Pair-a-saurs prove extremely valuable to new players and experienced players alike! Experienced players can use them as an alarm.
Its really easy to tame them and ride them very good for starters.I also had one.I was searching for a explorer note with my parasaur.Eventually a raptor spawned dismounted me from my parasauar my parasaur kept fighting but the raptor killed him then he killed me.(his name was Parry)
Don't Chase it in forest cause there where bee's
Just get it in the water goes sooooooooooo slow in water
When trying to ko a parasaur do it in a rocky area so it can’t run away as easily
Parasaurs aren't really a threat, at ALL. But since they are hunted by almost every carnivore on the island, its wise to observe them in case they start fleeing from danger. Beginners can use fleeing paras to avoid predators such as Raptors, which can quickly kill beginners.
Actually put taming info in here all that cheap y’all shit is irrelevant on god y’all make this app features ass with all the none help shit tAming only
Don’t try to trap one with some rocks they can CLIMB up the rocks oh and there loyal pets also pretty sometimes
This is easily my favorite starter tame great carry weight, amazing stamina, can detect enemies to help you avoid death(yes even underwater enemies too), and has a roar ability that makes small dinos in its radius get scared and run away from you, largest affected enemy in my experience is raptors very useful
When knocking out I recommend using a bola on it then beating it with a club. In my personal experience for taming for about lvl 20 it usually takes 50 berries of any type. For lvl 200 I think it once took me over 100 but unclear on amount as it has been a long time.
It's so simple just bola then put fences then tame three simple steps
A solid tame bola it smack it with a club or shoot it with tranq darts it is advised to BOLA IT FIRST especially for high level parasaurs they can be usually Found in groups so attack on the rest will run minimizing your chances of getting a parasaur
Grab a bola and two clubs. If it’s high level, grab your friend and both club it, you may need to bola it again. If it is high level and you are alone, a tranq arrow or two from a crossbow will knock it out. These are great tames for starting out as they can be used as a distraction from a dangerous animal and can be replaced and they are great narcoberry gatherers for starting out! Recommended as a starter tame!
When I first started on the Island I was alone, cold, and naked. I was punching trees, and gathering bushes. But then I saw her. Being a noob I had no clue what it was but I wanted it! I ran right up to her and started punching, and after about a 5 minute chase she was out cold. When I tamed her I named her Luggy, and she was to be my pack mule. I’m now a level 96 and still use her 1,345 weight to carry anything I need, and gather all my resources. Moral to the story; get yourself a parasaur and upgrade weight and maybe some Stam and speed. Very useful tame in the beginning, maybe the best.
