I am not saying that paras r bad but last time I had one I was a noob so I didn’t know anything I had 3 filos a para and a phiomia with a saddle so I rode to battle with those dinos I actually killed a trike but my dinos got knocked into the water and only my para survived but beacause it was in water those devils(the piranhas)killed it so moral of the story is don’t take ur paras into water because if there is piranhas ur para probably won’t survive even if it’s a small river(:

They are a good starter dino for carrying capacity abd berry farming. Trike is better.

Just run it into a corner or bola it, than continue to hit it with a club, slingshot, or what ever you use to KO things.

Good tame for low lvl people. Tame High level only! It is à good dino for the start to get berries, later on use it for the eggs and tame à bronto for berries instead.

I would try to use a bola of course as well as a club slingshot or tranquilizer arrows it's a great pack mule so load it up

Possibly one of the easiest tames when you start out (other than dodo or dilo). You either need a bola or have a bear trap handy as it does have speed on its side. Either getting it knocked out in a large area with berries would help, or have berries and crops on hand.

If u don't care about the lvl on ur dino feed it stimberries then mejoberries to tame it faster if u r in formula with this search it up in YouTube

Just knock it out, walk away and let it starve, don't waste narcotics or berries. Once it wakes up knock it out again, usually one arrow to the head. Begin taming from there. Bola is useful if you have trouble hitting its head.

My parasure killed dinashore

All you need to tame a 150 early is a bola, 2 clubs, materials to repair the clubs, some wooden fence foundations and some thatch doorframes

You need to bola the parasaur and quickly surround it with the fence foundations and doorframes on them. You have plenty of time to do that, I've done it many times

Once trapped start whacking it with the clubs until it's knocked out but be careful not to hit it when it's unconscious to not ruin the taming effectiveness

There are 3 ways to kill a parasaur

1 grab shot gun and hit it on the head up close.

2 knock out with smoke bomb then kill with axe or sword.

3 bola it then send your tames to tear it apart

(You need level 8 for bola)

1. Bola the parasaur

2. Ko with club, slingshot or fists

3. Feed it berries

4. Keep it safe from dilos

5. Craft saddle too ride your new parasaur

They can scare away mid sized predators like raptors not carnos just raptors and smaller they can detect enemies.

Not much use in my opinion. Compared to the lvl 10 saddle creatures phiomia can be used to farm poop for batch taming dung beetles and get loads of fert and turtle has infinite oxygen and good tank can be used to tame tuso but parasaur is fast but no faster than a raptor and pretty weak.

Try to have the dinosaur and you both facing a wall.

As you will start shooting it, it'll run away, straight to the wall and get stuck.

Esay tame from this point

If your starting off you can make a bola and charge it up and shoot at parasaur now it's stuck you can tame or kill it...

Fighting with this guy is pretty useless... Its mouth has to be on top of the attackers before it can deliver damage

I do love these guys tho, they're big and friendly, all areas level up well... Even a decent oxygen bar. in my case it's fast, low stamina decrease, high carry capacity, high damaging too

I believe they don't recieve as much credit as they're due. At higher levels they can prove to have high health pools and are still decently fast for a starter mount. My level 125 even made short work of a level 60 sarco!
