Survival Evolved, chapter 2

As Shawn was getting ready for school he noticed a shiny green crystal that was from his dad. That’s strange said Shawn in a shocking voice. My dad has been gone for 3 years Shawn said as he put the crystal in his backpack. Shawn the bus is here! Mom said. Coming Shawn said as he rushed through the door and onto the bus. Thank god I made it, Shawn said. But he then realized that he forgot his books at home! I’m screwed Shawn said as he lay back in his seat. What a start to the first day of school!
