Tame and wait until you're going to tame something big like a giga then kill ovis and harvest with chainsaw.

I don't know y but my ovis baby died after I sat at its feet for 2 hours feeding it. It holds so few berries for so long. It had 7 berries left then boom dead. Don't let it get to low on food and have a buddy 2 help u.

Only pump food if you want wool.get a breeding pair of them and raise them note that they fall through ceilings and rarely foundations. I have one that has 28k food and it gives me 30 wool every 20 to 30 minutes these are good if you are looking to make some quick ingots or maximize your pelt for those insane fur blueprints. I go on a killing spree and look around rivers and water I find a lot up north past the north found one once near swamp near the intersection

If you don't have the reasources to tame a found one, kill it and tame a low lvl Rex.

Came across a lvl 120 in the northeast snow region..that suckers gave me just under 100 raw mutten. If you don't know that is #2 preferred food on alot of meat eaters

These are on the switch version, though I had not found one of them so they must be rare.

I keep finding at least 1 or 2 of these guys on that one secluded island in the white cliffs on Valgeuro

Raptors only spawn in 2’s on that island too so it’s a great place to have a base.

To all mid to end game players: if you're poor like me and don't have any veg cake and find one you can pick it up with a flyer such as a argi and drop it into a pen and use scissors to farm wool off a wild one, then just keep repeating until you do get cake :)

Tame a male and a female and breed them then get scissors

And then say goodbye to painstaking beaver genocides or chasing down megaloceros on foot, you now have an infinite wool farm!

Male Ovis can do a headbutt attack that gives Torpor damage. Have seen tamed ones on Val KO a Trike.

The ovis is the rarest thing, only rare cuz they always get eatan. Really, they usually spawn in about as much as a dilophasaurus.

Mostly found in Ragnorok map near beaches

I saw one but it got killed by a t-Rex 😢😭

The ovis only has one purpose to me, RESOURCES(my opinion)

I would suggest breeding them and only killing the offspring for mutton, as they are also useful for making fur armor.

In the ragnorak map I have seen 5 all at once by the Wyvern nests.

Found one in the black sands place directly below the volcano on the island map. I haven't really seen them anywhere else so I go there periodically to see if any have spawned in again.
