A Twisted Tail
Book 1 Part 2
Their father was wrestling with a snake, it was covered in blood. With one last blow Rusty killed the snake then looked up at his children. Rusty started to run toward his children. A sarco burst out of the water grabbing Rusty, dragging him down into the water. “Run!” Rusty shouted before his head went under. Flame stared, horrified. Lynx grabbed Flame by the scruff and thrust him in front of her, Flame started to run. Lynx caught up with Flame and led him the rest of the way out of the swamp, and through an unknown forest. The ground started to shake, Lynx and Flame stopped as trees fell down around them. It was huge. It wasn’t a Rex. It was so much bigger, it was a giga. The giga roared, revealing a human on its back. Flame turned to run, then Lynx, but she was too late. The giga stepped forward and grabbed Lynx with its huge jaws, she screeched, Flame kept running. The giga snapped down its jaws, splitting Lynx in half, her body fell to the ground. Flame didn’t stop, he didn’t even turn around, he kept going, he wanted to survive.
Flame wasn’t sure what to do anymore. The humans had taken over the whole island. The island was infested with humans, few animals and plants remained. The rest of his family had died long ago, when it first started. Flame tried to make a new family, he tried to keep going, but then it happened again. Flame and his mate had sheltered in a small cave, where there were spiders, snakes, scorpions, and more. The creatures in the cave had allowed them to stay one night in the cave, as the humans had not accessed it yet. The only thing the creatures had wanted in exchange was some meat, so Flame had gone out and managed to find a brontosaurus; they were rare and nearly extinct nowadays.

Chapter 6
- The Nazgûl
As they prepared to launch the attack on emberfall, Spark found Alex string on the edge of an island staring at emberfall. She was fingering the necklace around her neck. It was a cross. Her parents had given it to her at Viking bay before they died.
“What’s been bothering you?” Spark asked.
“Nothing.” Alex replied.
“Alex. You can’t hide anything from me. You haven’t been yourself lately. You seem worried. And I know that Alex Stone is never worried.”
“When I went on that scouting run the other day, I saw the defenses of emberfall. We won’t survive the attack. I tried to reason with Joe, but he won’t listen. I did find a way in though. It is a one person job. All that has to be done is to blow the base with c4s. I can sneak in and do it.”
“Why do you say that like it’s a bad thing?”
“Because the exits must be sealed from the control room so no one escapes and the enemy will be defeated.”
“But that’s a suicide mission. You can’t do that.”
“There is no other way.”
“Then I’m going with you.”
“No. It’s a one person job. We would just be losing a great soldier needlessly.”
“Then let me go instead.”
“No. Jennifer needs you. She needs you more then me and you know it. I’m not worried about me. I am worried about her. Please watch over her, Spark.”
“Okay. I’ll go tell Jennifer.”
“I need to tell her.”
“Okay.”
Spark finally understood. He turned and walked away as tears filled his eyes. One of his lifelong friends was about to be gone.
As Spark walked away, Alex thought about what she would do next. She was about to tell Jennifer, her sister, what she had to do, and it was going to be the hardest, most painful thing she would ever do.
Chapter 4
- The Nazgûl
“We are ready for battle. Board the quetzals.” Joe announced.
The base was all crazy. Rushing for to mounts, grabbing supplies. Spark was surprised at how many dodos there were. Spark had been offered several times a spot on a tapejara for gunning, but he refused. Spark’s specialty was ground fighting. Jennifer had been offered the chief position in the sick-bay. She had declined. The three friends knew their mission. Find a way off this ark down to earth. Joe told them that the red obelisk was the only operational obelisk. If they won the war, the could go to earth. Spark was surprised Alex hadn’t offered to stay here. She seemed quite at home with the other pilots. She also seemed not herself. She had taken a scouting mission with the others earlier. She had seemed strange ever since then. Spark hoped it wouldn’t effect her fighting. Spark boarded a quetz. In about five minutes, he heard the order to send out the taps(tapejaras). The battle had begun.

Season one: Chapter Two: Life by the forge
Carter POV
CLANG. The stone hammer struck the white hot metal. CLANG. The sword began taking shape. CLANG. CLANG. CLANG. I stepped back, admiring my work and wiping the sweat off my forehead. I whistled for Ripper, who quickly grabbed the wooden hilt of the sword and plunged it into the water barrel. The metal sizzled as it cooled down, and steam rose from the barrel. After it had been in the water for around thirty seconds, he pulled it out and placed it on the smithy. I added the finishing touches, like wrapping the handle with leather and sharpening the blade.
“Think Jill will be happy with it?” Ripper asked.
“Well, she better be.” I replied.
“Cause she’s gonna have to pay up either way.”
Ripper chuckled slightly before saying “She should be coming in later this day.”
“While we’re waiting, how about we work on repairing John’s armor.” said.
“I’ll go get it.” Ripper said.
He got back, carrying the helmet in his mouth, the gauntlets in his claws, and the chest plate on his back, which almost blended in to the silver streak that went from his neck to the end of his tail. I grabbed them from him and tossed them on the smithy. After I finished the armor, I placed it it the ‘Waiting for pickup’ section. Neither of them would show for at least another hour, so I decided to take a nap. I plopped down onto my ragged mattress and pulled the thin cloth sheets over me. Than I drifted off to sleep.

United Paths
Season One: Chapter One
Chomp’s POV
The blood. The roars. It was the nightmare again. It was as if I was being punished by my own mind for not being strong enough. The bodies of everyone I knew littered the ground. I had failed them. I should’ve been better. It was MY fault. Their corpses were ravaged and drained of color, their eyes still and lifeless. Nibble’s crushed egg sat in front of me. The embryo was shriveled up in the center. I couldn’t even move. I was paralyzed with shock and horror.
And then I woke up.
I jolted awake, which woke up Sylvia to.
“You ok honey?” She asked sleepily.
I didn’t say anything. I couldn’t. When I opened my mouth to speak, nothing came out.
“Was it the nightmare again?”
I nodded.
“Do you wanna talk about it?”
I shook my head.
“Can you go back to sleep?”
I nodded slightly.
“Ok, well I’m right here if you need me.”
I laid back down, letting Sylvia’s body curl around mine. But I didn’t sleep. I couldn’t. When I closed my eyes, all I saw was the massacre. So I stayed awake. I saw the sunrise, which admittedly calmed my nerves. After a while, Sylvia woke up.
“Did you fall back asleep?” She asked.
I shook my head. It was day so I could see her better. Her dark black scales almost made my dark orange ones seem vibrant by comparison. Even her under scales was pitch dark, unlike my cloud white ones. We had been moved to a different pen than Beetle and Nettle, but not too far. We were still in the same area of the Allo section, so we still got to see them on occasion.
“Well, let’s just hope you don’t have it again tomorrow.” She said. And at that, we began our day.
Chapter 5:the truth
I was running.there were another hologram it shows the... wait a minute. Is that the earth when I saw my back I was... (no that’s not the truth no no noooooooooooo)I was crying hours.I understood that we are labtests.I remembered the time I worked up in the beach.we will spawn by that machine that spawned every thing in the island.
Chapter 8
- The Nazgûl
“The attack must be postponed.” Spark said.
They had just gotten in to the meeting room as the plans were being finished.
“Why?” Joe said.
“It just has to be.”
“That is not a valid answer. We can win this. We are fired up. The attack will commence.”
“Look Joe. Alex said we won’t succeed in a frontal assault. We just need to postpone it for half an hour until Alex finishes here scouting run.”
“This better be worth it.” Joe said.
“Oh it will be.” Spark said under his breath.
Meanwhile, Alex had found a spot to sneak in. Once through the door, no one was there. She snuck to the power room. She planted all the c4s. 20 minutes left. She snuck around looking for the control room. The soldiers must have all been preparing for battle. After about another ten minutes, she found the control room. She shot the officer before he could alert anyone. She began to seal the exits.
“So you have come to stop me?” A voice said from behind her.
Alex hit the button.
“The doors are sealed.” She said.
She shot the controls.
“Permanently.” She finished.
“Care for a duel? Might as well go out fighting. Besides. I would love to have the honor of killing Alex Stone.”
Alex was somewhat surprised he knew her name.
“The battle won’t be with guns. I know how deadly you are with range. We will fight with swords.”
He tossed her one. She studied him. He wore riot armor, but a flak helmet. He then removed his helmet. A charred face stared at her. One eye was white. He had clearly been through fire.
“If you actually know me, you will know I am deadly with a sword as well.”
“If you use a sword, I may have a chance.”
“Well, we’ve got five minutes.”
“Plenty of time.” He answered.
The fight began. Neither was winning, then again, neither really cared. They were both dead anyways. Five minutes later, the bombs blew. Flames engulfed everyone.
“Well Spark, thirty minutes are up. She isn’t back. I have one question though. What was she doing on that scouting mission?”
Just then a huge rumble shook them. They looked at emberfall. It was in flames.
“There your answer Joe. Now are you glad we only lost one soldiers life rather than all of their’s?”
All the soldiers celebrated. No one much knew what happened. All they knew is no more fighting. The war was won.
Chapter 5
- The Nazgûl
“Incoming taps! What should we do commander?”
“Send out our own!”
The battle was chaos. A pilot and two gunners were on each tap. Soon, the enemies forces were beginning to thin.
“Send in the quetzals!” Joe yelled.
The first carrier landed as the second payload came in.
“Take out the turrets or our fighters are done for!” Spark yelled.
The battlefield was chaos. Taps and their riders falling from the sky. Soldiers desperately trying to find cover from bullet fire and bombs. Suddenly, more enemy taps began swarming the skies. Spark fired the flare. It was the signal for the tropeos.
As Alex and her troops waited for the signal, Alex discussed battle with them.
“Remember what we practiced. Fly in single file. When I tell you to break, break off of the line and take out as many taps as you can. Whenever we return to formation, we form into single file.”
Just then, the flare went up.
“Let’s go!” Alex said.
With the arrival of the tropeos, the battle had practically ended. Within minutes, Apotheosis was under their control. The first battle of the war was over. They had won.
A Twisted Tale
Book 1 Part 3
Flame had easily killed the weak brontosaurus. That night the whole cave, including Flame and his mate, had had a feast. Flames mate had been expecting, so Flame had let her eat some of his food. Later while they were sleeping, they were awoken by screeching and roaring. Then the humans had barged into the part of the cave they were in, and before Flame and his mate could do anything, they shot. The humans had shot Flames mate in the head, as she was unable to move fast enough to dodge it. With that, both Flames mate, and his children, died. Flame had managed to make it out of the cave alive, but now, he didn’t think there was anything worth living for.
Flame looked up at the ocean, there was a human boat out in the distance. Flame knew what he should do. Flame stood up. He walked over to the water and dabbed it with his paw, then took a step. He went further and further out, until he was swimming. Flame dived down, deep into the water. There were no megalodons, no fish, nothing, it was empty. Flame never resurfaced, but why would anyone care? No one knew him, he didn’t have any relatives or friends anymore, he had nothing, and now...he didn’t even have life
