Imma tell y'all a story about how my otter, ocean ferret, was the most tiring tame Ive ever attempted.

I was heading back from taming a high level thylacoleo. I was crossing the river on the east border of the redwoods when I saw this little guy swimming around in the water. I thought, why not just make this expedition even more of a victory? So I went into the water looking for fish. I got a couple of coelacanths and dragged them onto shore. But after I came back onto the beach with another fish, I realized the baryonyx I was riding still had autoharvesting enabled and ate all the fish before I could give them to the otter. So I disabled that and went looking for fish. Eventually, I found the holy grail of otter taming, a x3.2 salmon. I killed it, and began to slowly drag it to where I saw the otter. A whole ingame day has passed by now, so obviously it wasn't where I left it. When I found again, I realized that I was carrying a fish that was the size of my new thyla, and I could not keep up with the otter. It eventually went on land and I could keep up with better there, so I caught up. Then something else went wrong. The fish I was carrying was so big that my character looking in any direction would scan it's hitbox and show me the release option. If it's always showing the release option, it's never showing the feed option. So I dropped the fish, admired how large it was, and went to find something else. Eventually, I tamed the otter and it is now my friend, so yay.
