Once you tame it there is a 24 hour cooldown on resurrecting a dead tame, however if you placed a death essence in its inventory, it’s expiry time will increase from the standard 24 hours, so no need to worry if you’re a few hours away from losing a tame for good.

They removed the feature to place turrets on these things, kind of a letdown and I wish there was a toggle option for platform building on dinos.

To feed them, you’ll need plant pots that are filled with trees, bushes or foliage. These are easy to get, just craft some plant pots, go around with a shovel and dig into the trees. If you check your inventory, the plant pot will be green. The tree size and bushes varies on how much food it will give it, there’s plenty stats but I recommend big trees all the time, easy to do.

All the tips on taming are fairly confusing what with drag weight and level etc. I honestly couldn’t give much testing tips other than my experience. I just used the death essence of a Rex with 10K hp. Its taming process requires a mini game of sorts where you have to take down Vultures attacking in separate waves. All this involves is protecting the tame that you’re trying to bring back to life as it starts its resurrection, the vultures can kill it pretty quickly if you don’t deal with them. I used a thylacoleo and sat above the lake, just biting the vultures as they got to my level, be careful with this though as you can damage the Oasisaur.

Few extra things,

They can’t be cryopodded

They can’t mate/breed tamed (but who knows that goes on out there)

They're awfully slow at flying but still, they fly.

They automatically farm materials for you like crystal, oil, cactus sap, metal etc depending on what materials are on top of them.

Good luck, hope this helps
