Carry an active light or charge pet, as its illumination repels Nameless and helps it deal extra damage; Plant Species Z can also drive them underground. Fight isolated individuals with a strong mount, but retreat if they swarm, especially when an alpha appears, since prolonged encounters can escalate into a Reaper attack.
