Appear in the blue and red areas and the surface. Normally they don’t spawn onto you just because you have no charge, they seem to spawn around like normal dinos and are drawn out when you have no charge. This means you CAN clear areas of them for a while at least if you kill them before too many spawn from alphas. Have a light pet with you but have it off to draw them out, then when they emerge turn it on and use a strong mount to kill them off with ease, preferrably the crab. They also seem to take crush damage from big dinos walking over them even when they’re underground (though this may have been fixed). Plant Z fruit can force them underground which could save you in a pinch.
More Nameless Encountering Tips
Do you know how powerful these things are? They can summon reapers and other nameless!
Highest level is the alpha once ten show up eventually the alpha will howl summoning the reaper king
You can find them in the lower caverns. They have an almost endless spawn and grow mutate to an alpha when the previous alpha dies. Have a charge pet like bulbdog if you want to avoid.
The pack leader or alpha namless and normal namless both drop venom but aplhas drop the venom more commonly. People that say only alpha drop them that is not true.

For their size, they are strong.
For their strength, they are many.
For their horde, they are fast.
For their speed, they are strong.
What are they?
The Nameless
When about three spawn, one will turn into a alpha, ( large and orange) which are the ones that drop the venom. WARNING: When they drop the venom, a bag will drop with the venom inside, it won’t go into your or your tames inventory!!! If ten spawn, a reaper will appear. Keep a light pet with you so they don’t overwhelm you. Light pets will burn them, doing major damage. That’s really all you need to know to fight them!
The most annoying creature in the game. It has also come to my attention that even if one nameless follows you into the green zone, other nameless will spawn until all of them are dead.
