For low level mobile players, you can attack alpha mosa or the regular one using your itchy and it won't aggro back on you.

Just don't use arrows or sword in attacking as it will attack you back even when riding itchy. Just use your itchy to kill alpha mosa, you'll be safe. DON'T GET OFF ITCHY.

Bring a lot of food for itchy, attacking will hunger them.

Also, don't attack mosa near its mouth especially when it's trapped in rocks or caves as it will bite those in the way.

I just did this 10 mins ago. Single player. Mobile. I now have 100 black pearls. Next goal is TUSO.

I've found that the easiest and fastest way to knock one out is to get its attention and swim through a gap in those large underwater stone formations,it will follow you and get stuck allowing you to shoot it as many times as needed

After a whole round on the island I litteraly found a lvl 20 mosa near my base area.

Then knocked it out with toxicant and tranq arrows and tamed it with 2 quetz kibbles(soothing balm also).

And now I'm sure that I'll see those mosa's everywhere cuz I've tamed one¯\_(ツ)_/¯¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The first mosa I found was an alpha

Me and wife found a 145 x mosa stuck. We got the taming boat to get it. Took almost 7 crossbows and 700+ tranq arrows. Only other person w mosa on the server caught a lvl 60 lol

I was finding any mosa but i found 2 alpha mosa and a tuso instead

1 locate a mosa. I found many on deep sea near herb island

2 knock it out by letting it fallow you until it imagoes then shot with toxant arrow repeat

3 feed prime meat or kibble I tamed one fine with prime meat and soothing balm

So one day me and my mosa named fishy, went to kill some megaladons then a bunch of plesiosaurs and electrophuris things killed it. I got my

1232 damage sword and went on a rampage. Then I tamed a size 9.4 fish. Yayy. I named it mosa

DO NOT fight jellyfish with these; if you do the jellyfish will stun your mosa and dismount you, and then you'll have to watch your mosa as it stays there helplessly until the jellyfish kill it.

just tried taming one with tuso cause I've seen just about everyone say that you can grab it with squid and dismount to shoot it and it didn't work, I tried same thing on multiple other creatures and my mosa I tamed b4 squid and squibwerb kept letting go of them everytime I dismount. it's better to bring it up to a shallow area where it can't go back down to deep water like the coast of main island on lost island at the south or desert coast, they will swim forward a trying to go down until they hit a wall can't move anymore and you can safely dismount and ko them without chasing them throughout the entire ocean(what I did for first mosa) or them attacking you. do bring more arrows/darts than app says my lvl 135 did not go down with 14 arrows

If you have the patience, grab it with a tuso and drag it to shallow water so it loses agro. Tuso grab slowly inflicts torpor so just sit there and prosper.

Use a squid to bring it to the surface it doesn't attack when close to surface

Things you need to tame a high level mosa

1:50 tranq arrows to be safe

2: 100 narcotics to be safe

3: 2 to 4 hours to find a high level

4: 10+ soothing balm if on mobile

5: best food you have to tame it

6: and a failed exam

And you get a mosa saddle from a supply drop?

Take an ichy. Get your best xbow (I prefer xbow because it’s easier to shoot and hit target on the back of the ichy) circle the mosa firing away. The ichy is quick enough to dodge the bite. If you dodge a wrench you can dodge a mosa.
