Think of your favorite tame... that was cute. Introducing you to your new favorite tame, GOD... I mean megatherium. Sorry, with one kill of a bug they are very hard to tell apart. You remember waking up on the beach naked and running away from those drones? Yeah, now they will have nightmares of a big ass sloth frothing at the mouth for their demise. Giga making you worry next door? Nothing a Megatherium or 20 and some bug crack can’t fix. I promise you getting one of these changed my life. Collects Chiton pretty good I guess. If pretty good is you throwing out 16K cause you’re slot capped. Your future daughter will call this tame daddy, if you already have a daughter... you should have had a son.
In Mobile version, megatherium can be resurrect on the obelisk after killing it in the dungeon (plase in mobile, where you can have battle with bosses). It doesn't live in normal world. In mobile it eats an old kibble: baryonyx egg+raw fish+potato+mejoberry+fiber. It is very important information for mobile players! Up so mobile players can see this. By void original from google
Just caught two of these beastly animals today with my son. The best way to capture one is three metal signs in the form of a triangle with a bear trap in the middle of it. Lay the first two metal sign down in a 90 degree angle and put the bear (large one) trap in the middle. Get the megatherium to follow you into the bear trap, and put the third sign on the outside of the animal. Tranq it up and vola you have a Megatherium.
Megatheriums are one of if not the absolute best way to defeat the Brood Mother, for instance it can easily obliterate any and all cave dwellers that guard the artifacts necessary to summon this demonic demigod. It also receives a damage boost when they kill any invertebrates and therefore, it is essential to use in the boss fight. When paired up with a Yuti and Deadon these killing machines are completely unstoppable; although, I’d recommend both high levels and great saddles.
Please like to help those of whom are planning on beating the Brood Mother.

THIS MONSTER LITERALLY JUST KILLED 3 OF MY(and my bf's) BEELZEBUFOS, 1 ANKY AND 1 ARCHY. I nagged my bf for so long to tame the beelzebufos and felt so connected to those cute froggies. RIP Winky, Pepe, Froppy, Kyle and Argentina #neverforget 😭
MEGATHERIUM: Sound Triggered?
Towards Insects, hell yeah.
These things Ark Devs call Giant Sloths are the No.2 Producer of Chitin and Keratin.
You never have to worry about Cementing Paste Again!
You can tame them in mobile so go to a dungeon kill one get his ark thingy and revive him at the obelisk up so all the mobile players know
For some reason it tames faster with coocked prime fish meat than regular meat
Passive and friendly unless it has recently killed a bug. After killing a bug it becomes “enraged” and will kill everything in sight. It will have an orange cloud around it if it is mad
For mobile players you can kill it in the dungeons I forgot which one but you will find out. Then grab it’s respawn artifact thing then get a respawn pad respawn it and build stone walls around so it does not get out and escape then tranq it out the easy way is to feed berries hard way is honey. Blow this up so peeps can see it
When I first saw megatherium I assumed it was a Herbivore since it’s just a giant sloth. And tamed it exclusively with berries. Which took forever. It was only after I used it and noticed it was eating meat I realised it was an omnivore. Don’t make the same mistake i did. Taming it Exclusively with berries is a pain
