These guys are really great for getting chitin and killing broodmother. They have a passive damage boost against bugs and when they kill a bug they get another insane dmg boost making it great for killing broodmother.

Use this in broodmother fight, once it kills the spiders it really gets good. You don’t even need a yuty, just 20 of these guys bread up

This guy if you get like fifteen can take down the broodmother easily.

Can easily kill broodmother with ten of these guys. When it kills one of the spiders it's gets a rage boost, cause it's an insect, and then the broodmother is dead.

They anky left the doed for the argy. The doed found the megatherium and now I have a cementing paste farm. Rhynios give nearly 2.5k chitin.

Ark Basics: Megatherium - EVERTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW!

There not the early game Dino’s but one of the better mid to mid game tames that can actually carry on into the endgame it’s these guys are really really good in their little niche that they filled now their niche they fill in the mid game when you get them is so much bigger than in late games and late games you only need them for one specific thing but if you can get these guys right around the same time that you get a thylacoleo or something like that you can take these guys and you can have fun you can ride around with them they can be your little buddy Nick in it you can take it you can go out and you can get a whole bunch of Chitin harvest up a bunch of stuff because they will harvest just about anything that you can point them at I mean seriously if you can shake a stick at it they’ll be able to harvest it it’s really effective plus they are also one of the better ways of actually getting into the swamp game especially now that you have cryopods, Yes, Cryopods are a game changer for these guys they took something that was already pretty decent and they made it -WOW- alright they just did alright 😂 and were talking about megatheriums ALRIGHT IM KINDA GETTING BORED AND WANNA POST THIS NOW- so ima just say one more fact— If they eat and kill bugs they get this like rage thing witch makes them stronger and stuff and there REALLY good at the broodmother boss fight :)

Great for defeating the broodmother

Take this insane mutated stats to the place where deathworms spawn and kill every single fackin one of them.

If you are low level and looking for quick xp take one of these at high level and kill everything on dead island (island on top right of map)

Really good fibre gatherers...if u take them to the small island beside red obelisk u can get around 100k fibre in less than 10 mins (only around 600% melee)so pretty great they also gather berries very well too

On ark mobile the megatherium would not fit into any of the caves.

If playing on ragnarok take a baby to the ice deathworm cave and raise it there and easy cave runs ahead just name it "plz dont kill" and pray other players dont mess with it

If you can fit this thing inside a cave, you'll be untouchable

Great for going through the chitin cave.or whatever else.

These are EXTREMELY good at getting charcoal from burnt trees with high melee
