When taming this thing, make sure you have all the following, it will become none aggressive if wearing all chitin armor, also make sure to kill bugs in front of it, so it will become friendly, then It becomes a easy passive tame, make sure you have a few stacks of chitin as it takes patience make sure you within 2 inches of this now docile creature.

Easiest way to tame one of these is to make a simple trap (pillars surrounding it with a bear trap in the middle). Once their in the trap you can easily knock them out.

Finally tamed it but took two tries because I spawned it in the red obelisk and almost knocked it out but it ran and went to the ocean and got destroyed by megalodons
