If you're in the snow biome you shouldn't worry about them too much. But If you're in the redwoods keep track of where these guys are at all times cause any second the game could spawn ants or dragonflies out of nowhere and if you are anywhere close to thi guy kiss your ass goodbye. I speak from experience, i lost a pack of hyenadon i had just tamed to this guy.

They are way faster than they look if you hit them. Like galimimus fast

Find the R version on Gen2, Eden zone South section.

Do not attack unless you have gear but if you attack do you are a dare devil.

It's good to not go near it when enraged with bug tthing because it will attack you

Stay as far away as you can from these things if your on a Rex or a Allo. They will mess your Dino up. I was just riding my Rex on a beach with my allo following and two of them came and killed my allo and got my Rex from 4000 hp to 439 hp in like 2 minutes. Then since they can’t just stop at that they are also faster that my Rex so they just kept hitting it while I was running. My Rex lived Bc I ran behind a stego and it just started attacking the stego. So just stay the frick away from these sloth things Bc they want to eat your Dino’s a**. Have fun playing Ark knowing these things exist.

This thing damn near killed my Mantis good thing my mantis was imprinted and super fast

When I encountered it it was a lvl 190 and my argentavis was a 600 hundred but I was trying to tame it my argy with 25 k health was knocked down to half health

Stay away if it starts a range meter! (That's when it start to attack bugs and it's a red glow kinda like the alpha glow)
