They are mainly useful as a source of Chitin, while a Beelzebufo can clear groups for Cementing Paste and their husks may support specialized crafting in some versions. They are easy to kill individually but can swarm near corpses or spoiled meat, so avoid lingering, use Bug Repellent, and rely on melee weapons, torches, or a Beelzebufo to spot and handle infestations.
