One day I was wandering in the desert when I saw one of these things for the first time. I thought they would be easy to kill. I took my fabricated pistol and shot slowly at the mantis, thinking I was invincible. (I was such a noob at that time) then suddenly out of nowhere it pounced on my face ripping me to shreds. If you encounter a mantis and you dont know how to deal with it run in zig-zags because they can only run slow and lung so zig-zags will work. If you do know how to handle a mantis good for you 👍
