Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a manta? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a manta.
If you want to tame it in mobile, ride icythy and oassive taming using angler gel , im farming angler gel in southern cave , using crosbow
I would make stone fences and door frames to tap it but don’t leave it or the take will despawn CAPTN YUMMY
Once these are tamed they are speed and can be used for underwater travel fast.
These things are tricky to tame but I lure one to shore and put fence Foundation and then walls not a specific kind and then feed it angler gel which i got from killing anachita great tactic for lower level players
Build stone fence foundations and doorways 2 wide and 3 long where the shore meets the ocean and lure a manta in placing doorways behind him so he cant leave, passive feed angler gel through the doorway till tamed. These thing are fun to ride but dangerous. They can jump out of water & if you land on any rocks or shore, you will die...
Intervals between feeding is about 26s.
I just tamed one in a pen where it couldn't move.
The interval is more like 26 seconds between each feed
Really neat tames I recommend leveling up in movement speed. If you get a flock of high levels they will destroy water tames.
You must kill her angler fish on arc mobile and angular jail to the manta it is a passive team
In mobile, the first feed takes a looong time, but the rest of the feeds take a short time. No idea what it’s like on pc and console.
build a square with 4 pillars and 1 ceiling but leave one pillar, then find the manta you desire lure it and place the last pillar. (the pillars need to snap to 1 foundation away from each other)
A good way to work around using bug repellent is to just circle these dudes with a speedy sarco and get off every once in while to feed em. I HEAVILY suggest wearing flak armor instead of scuba if you try this method tho, cause otherwise they’ll rip you apart.
Non violent means passive tame lmao
When taming, make a box using gates as far into the water as you can (but still a bit on shore). Use foundations and door frames on the open end facing the shore to make the space for the manta to beach itself on smaller (make sure the door frames are on the inside of the foundations so it can’t splat onto them)
Build a raft. Place fence foundations around it place wooden door ways on top now you can place stone doorways underneath build 3 deep underneath the raft. Snap pillars in the doorways in the back build it 4 pillars deep. Build ceilings underneath it and one outwards facing the front build 2 fence foundations in the front place a dino gate on them and you 've got an mediocre tame box for mantas but bewary they will be able to hit you if you use bug repellant you should be fine.
Even though these are a pain to tame if you get the chance they are amazing creatures. They have the ability to jump out of the water. They are also either the first or the second fastest water Dino/animal.
Doooooo not let this thing out of the water 💦 for even a millisecond they will instantly die
Never I mean never bring your high level Rex in the water in the center map because like 20 of these things killed my level 171 Rex after I tamed it and was going to lava island and my Rex fell off the boat.
If you don't trap it it's virtually impossible to tame
These shits can’t be knocked out on mobile
