They say passive tame because YOU are the one that’s supposed to be passive, same way it says “non-violent” it’s talkin bout you NOT the actual tame, sheesh

They have terrible turning circle, approach one from above and feed it. Then let it swim circles around you. The occasional time it gets close you can predict its attacks, it “bucks” just before the attack, which is the tail swinging underneath. Quick swim up or back avoids it. Be prepared to get dizzy, long time between feeding

Tame like 20 of them, put them all in a single area, agressive on, wandering on, kill everyone

The manta is quite dangerous, as it's attacks can punch straight through armour, even flak. They are very fast and unless you have lots of oxygen and speed, you will not escape. Just poke your head underwater and look left and right before crossing the sea. It's like a road, but worse, because roads don't have angry stingrays, very large sharks and/or killer piranha

guys it's a passive tame for you, not for the manta, it can be as aggressive as it wants it's not taming you, you are taming it

If you pump your levels into speed and skim the surface while using sprint you can use Carbo shells as jumps.

A waffle of maddness

If you position yourself correctly when riding one, only your head will stick out and you won't lose oxygen, this can be used for spying on others.

To the people who say these are useless, they are on of the if not the fastest tame in the ocean except Astrosdelphis and maybe itchy, there attack ignores armor, when you get a ton of them they are absolute killers in the ocean. Easy tame to, just ride itchy and hand it angler jel, it can jump out of the water which makes it even faster, just don’t take it on land or it will die, do not listen to people who say it is useless, just don’t.

They are demons of the water super unfriendly and giolent

Just ride an itchy and you can feed it without it aggroing on you. I’m on mobile

I actually tamed this creature by luring it with a sarco and when it comes near to the shore I feed it angler gel after a few mins it will be tamed . You can also use bug repellent and tame it .

Carefull around these guys. They're like the raptors of the water, lost my newly tamed basilosaurus to these heartless animals... Rest well, Bessie, I loved listening to your singing T_T

Mantas are very quick ocean transport mounts, which also double as a powerful PVP asset. The manta's attack ignore the armour stat, which makes a high melee damage manta incredibly powerful to players and small tames. It's quick speed also allows it to move very fast. It can jump out of the water, but on contact with land, it will begin dying very fast. Very good for travel on the center map, as it can jump over the many islands if it gets a good run up

They give us the saddle at low level, but we need to go deep underwater to get angler gel without scuba stuff? How are we supposed to tame the devil's goldfish when we get the saddle??

They're suicidal! Trapping them is advised so they don't jump out of the water and onto land.
