Mammoths inhabit snowy biomes and are best tamed after isolating one, securing the area, and using tranquilizers before feeding it while unconscious. They excel at harvesting wood, thatch, and berries, while their carrying capacity, reduced wood weight, combat strength, support roar, passenger-carrying ability, and versatile water spray make them highly useful mounts. Though generally passive, attacking one may provoke nearby herd members, so avoid groups and use their slow movement and limited aggro range to retreat or kite them safely.
