IMPORTANT!!!

If you are playing hard/casual like me and want to tame a level 260-300 mammoth follow the following CAREFULLY!

Before I knew this technique I was stuck trying to tame a level 260 mammoth for hours, I was feeding it carrots and it was only going up by 0.2% each feed. It took me 3 real hours for it to reach 30% so I killed it.

— Long story short I used the following technique to tame a 290 mammoth with 100% taming effectiveness in under 1 minute.

1: Do south cave to get soothing balm.

2: Make 6 raptor kibble(It’s favorite)

3: Build a 4x4 trap

4: Bring hide bed

Trap it, sleep, feed it balm first, then kibble.

BAMM!!! Done in under a minute. ⇡Vote!!!

Very easy to gather wood, easy to tame if you get it stuck between a rock and or a trap area. I love this dinosaur, best so far

I prefer getting this on mobile instead of paraceratherium and it has a water splash attack and stomp attack and an extra drum seat and they are quite easy to tame you can outrun tgem easily and their damage is more than a rex the secondory one

Stimberries are harder to get then other berries. Why would any person use them? Just use crops

Give mammoth a stimuLant first then give him a kibble so the mammoth will tame fast

These guys can be picked up by a quetzal at least on ark mobile.

Easy to tame first:

Find pachy if high lvl bola it and club it

Find dossier to give ur pachy a lot xp

Lvl up its damage and go to the snow Biome

Find Mommoth idk if I’m miss spelling but use the pachy to charge at it and a few charge it’s knock out there feed it 200 mejoeberrys less or more and u got it tame very easy to me

These tame incredibly fast with sorghum. Try it out. Tames 150's within ten minutes with no narcatics on 2x taming.

Once you knock down a mammoth give it tons of berries then go back to your home even if you don't live in the north. When tamed there's a button when in your inventory that says how many games you have. Find your mammoth in the list click request then soon your mammoth will teleport to you (I play on IPad so not sure if it will work on other platforms).

Most people think the beaver is better. I personally think the Manmoth is. Tame a high lvl mammoth, pump all melee, put on a ramp quetz, use exploit to your advantage = tons of wood with no effort. Beavers AoE is not as big, doesn't work on quetz.

Just so you guys know, traps don’t really work for these guys 🤷‍♂️ They just walk through, so your better off just walking backwards loading it with tranqs because they are fairly slow 👍

Have a Rex attack it theme kill the rex thene shoot some tranqs

I suggest waiting until Christmas DLC if your noob so start building up a lot of tranq arrows and narcotic I suggest getting 100 arrows and 200 narcotic.

U don’t need narcotics and to tame just met projectile up close make sure you up close to net projectile

Alright remember using stimulberries to tame the mammoth gives it both increased taming effectiveness and tames much faster

If taming, its easiest to either tame on outskirts like everyone else said or take a fast, leveled up dino with you for protection. I used my rex I tamed right before it and I had my argentavis to take him home. They keep up rather well unless you're going through a jungle. Shoot it in its trunk for easiest ko (I used darts. On a low level mammoth it can take 2 darts with the rifle to take em down easily)

Hard way to tame

1. Tame a berry farmer (Bronto)

2. Go to red woods and farm for 1 minute

3. Use narco berries for narcotics and stim to tame it

4. Use a quetzal to pick one up throw it down a cliff

5. Tranq it

6.tame it
