You’ll probably only need this tame for wood cause in my opinion it’s pretty useless but to tame it what I did was let it hit my blood wyvern while I shot tranq arrows at it and it was out in under 2 minutes.

Mammoth on Raft!?

Does anyone else have a problem with transporting the mammoth on raft?

It seems i can’t climb the raft with my mammoth no matter what i do, what material i’ve used for the raft’s floor, and asking admins help on an unofficial server, they teleported to me on raft with the mammoth, and it just floats.

Anyone else have the same problem?

mammoths are really useful to get rockaroots and plants easily!

Honestly better for wood runs than a beaver in my mind. Pair it with a quetz and load up.

These are 10x better Than beaver in my opinion. They get nearly as much wood they can fight they are fast they are easy to tame they have 2 seats they get more berries (I think) and they have a cheap saddle at a low level only down side is there only really in the snow so if u want to tame one make sure to bring fur

My saddle has drums on the back!

Mammoth can be carried by Quetzalcoatlas, dont listen to Dododex

It can pick up humans so you can finally kill the Ice Age Baby

Here's a step-by-step guide

Step 1. Find one (in snow biome)

Step 2. Tranq arrow it (watch out they're usually in packs!)

Step 3. When it's knocked out put berries/crops inside it's inventory

Step 4. Don't let direwolves get it

Step 5. Enjoy your new Manny the mammoth from ice age!

They also can harvest rare mushrooms just need to drop the ton of wood they gather to collect more rare mushrooms from the swamp biom.

The capacity u see in this creature's stats on mobile is actually how much water it can carry (90% is the minimum) you can spray the water to ground fliers, remove paints, turn off electricity and remove off leeches from tames (not sure?)

Great for gathering not only thatch but wood as well, seems to be able to carry more than a beaver. At least for me.

(mobile) best way to tame is using vegetable with sppthing palm most easy way to get it is hunters cave. Just bring a 2x2 stone trap almost 100 trank arrows on crossboss 8-10 spike walls and about 50 or 60 carrots 1 soothing palm and make sure you have a good armor or a weapon to fend of hostile and place your trap on a good spot to protect ,the difficult part is to find a lvl300 and luring it . Make sure you have a flyer though PT is good. Goodluck

I did my research on the mammoth and even a level forty mammoth only takes about 18 tranq arrows out of crossbow to knock out.

Just found out that mammoths can carry dinos and throw them I’ve only tested it on deinonychus and enforcers. L2 on PlayStation I’m not sure about Xbox and PC

Realy good for wood can cary you till early late game

So this is basically the hairy prehistoric version of the war elephant. The only thing I find peculiar about this mammoth is that the hair can be weird colours, from blue to orange, and thats when it’s wild. Otherwise it’s awesome, fantastic wood gatherer and has a high weight reduction for wood. It can stun flyers with its water attack, probably not useful for stunning the flyers, because if you have a mammoth, it’s likely you already got a flyer. The water attack can also irrigate crops making it easier compared to using water skins. 10/10 from me, oh and one more thing, they spawn in groups of 3 or more, kill the ones you don’t want and tame the one you want, preferably a high level, note: ONLY USE KIBBLE FOR HIGH LEVELS, DONT USE MEJOBERRIES LIKE I DID!

If play on prim+ this nice dino loves the sorghum. It is like giving it kibbel.
