If you are a switch player I do not recommend taming the mammoth for gathering wood, I tested it and it’s not very efficient compared to an axe… better off with a stego for wood. They are cute though!

When you stealing Wyvern eggs just try to fly out fast front the cave and fly past them and the wild Wyvern Will attack it and let you go

If you put a cloth hat on it it looks like a bandanna

On old ark mobile wild mammoths can only do the stomp attack for 69 damage, and don't have the ability to sprint but when tamed they sprint, can attack with their horns, stomp and spray water

On other platforms wild mammoths can do both the horn attack, stomp attack and call attack.

None of the ones I KOed were hard to take down and the one that lived wasn't that hard to tame. The issue is predators, I think the game gives sabertooth and direwolf ai a way of sensing a down mammoth. It took me three times to finally get one 🫠

I bagged a tickle chicken, spino and 2 rexes before I finally tamed one of these guys.

Find one in Asgard and get it stuck punch it with your friend if you have not friends (I’m talking to you) your skrewed
