Im not sure if this is true but tintoberries can increase the range of the xp boost, cuz i accidentally fed mine some tintoberries while trying to eat some and now the xp boost has a long range

They should add an effect when tamed if torpor goes up when tamed they will occasionally yawn making the xp boost longer and if they're asleep it will make it even longer

This is what I use this guy for

I pick him up when tamed and activated buff on a flyer and target a carnivore nearby and while my other creatures attack I use him for the extra xp they would get and other than that there awsome.

I named mine do master cuz if pet him he be like

*back flips* xp master: yea! WOHOOOO! U get xp, and u get xp!

I KILL THE BABIES OF MINE FOR PRIME MEAT, it is a good source if you can get one male and enough females

Build a 2 wide 1 high rectangle ( it can be as long as you like) with ramps coming off one side of it. Bring all of your favourite creatures and place them on top of the rectangle and put a bunch of lystros inside the rectangle with a door on one side. Put a trough somewhere and BAM! You now have yourself an xp farm. Just go inside and pet the lystros every so often.

These little guys are cute critters... Cute enough that on many occasions when flying with my Argy I've rescued them from predators. Also make really useful tames to level up other creatures(if you had a really high health one you could take it into easier gamma boss battles(megapithecus could be good) too farm minions with your mount whilst using the super tanky lystro to level it faster

So I tamed 2 of these tykes and was planing to breed another to level up my dinos across base, and I got so confused then happy when I ended up with triplets!

It is REALLY SLOW so if you plan on bringing it with you then put all the level up points into movement speed!

If you need a few extra levels for your dino, this is the right dino for that

Amazing for egg laying. One Male and six females should set you up. Check the south beaches they are usually plentiful there. If you dont find any kill off some turtles and other critters there and leave they should spawn.

Pump movement speed and weight and have it follow you and you will never be encumbered

Use this tame to jump levels quickly I went from level 77 to 101 in 38 mins by hatching a bunch of giga Rex and wyv eggs and killing them in a pit with a lightning wyvm if you are just starting out do the same but with small apex predators such as raptor or sarco etc

When you need to level up, this dinos the one... and it's a passive tame

Tame a few and keep them near your house. One of mine killed a Sarco that was chasing me. I had done no damage. Level up their damage.

Lystro can double you and your dinos ex boost

FYI, lustrous does NOT buff player experience, only Dino’s.

Argentavis can carry them in their mouths even when you dismount. Keep one in their mouth as you fly around and level new argents quickly.

When you pet it they give your Dino’s an XP boost just for standing there. Perfect for leveling up tames if you are unable to, for lack of ability or if trying to keep a low profile in the area to not alert other tribes.
