I had a beautiful lystro that i named Alexander. I loved Alexander, his flips and dances always made me smile, even when I got more powerful tames he was still my favorite.

Well, one day I was returning home from exploring there was a spino near my base, so I began to lure it away to avoid hurting my weaker tames. As I was doing that a flyer itchy came flying Infront of the spino with Alexander in its maw, the blasted seagull dropped Alexander Infront of the spino, despite all the health I pumped into him it did no good, I tried fighting it from my pteradon but in the end in was all for not, Alexander died. I took my two trikes then and hunted the spino down, and killing it.

I tamed a dime later to hunt down every seagull I see, and killing the one that stole Alexander from me

I was flying on my argent and I saw a blue dot and I went up to investigate It was a lystro that was blue!? So I tamed it and named it oversized blueberry

I punched a HUGE salmon once and watched in awe as my lvl 3 tamed lystro wiped all of it's hp out in 2 seconds. Lvl up hp, damage and put it on aggression then boom you have a tiny but op gaurd for your tribe or your own house if you're on multiplayer

Me and my dad where trying to tame one of these things we started to see red appear on it dad thought it was turning red cause he thought it was getting tamed 😂 my little brother walked in and asked “why is the dinosaur hurt?” Long story short the Dino died dad thinks we over fed it

The Lystrosaurus. It was my first ever tame. It was a brown female wandering along the western coast, the place where I chose to start. I did not know anything about knockout games back then, and I was on mobile, as well as sticking to the slide-in hot bar which I had NO idea how to use. It was painful trying to tame the lystro considering I accidentally ate some mejoberries because I thought you could spam feed them, but I finally got it. I didn’t know what to name so I just went with Mae. I don’t have that save anymore since I renewed iPads, but I will never forget back in the days where it was just Mae and I against the world.

I tamed a lvl300 with 5 rareflowers that i got from a gift,nice start lol

Found a lv450 wild playing at the hardest settings and tamed him for a lv625 when im sitting here struggling at lv1 he became my dps, my tank, my reliable item box & above all best bud in a world out to 1-shot me. Watching my experience crawl to lvl2,3,4 taking anything I can get, this bud made it possible to 50 damage when Im doing 5or6 in my birthday suit & pickaxe. I have sacrificed myself to the Sarco gods of destruction to draw them away from my best bud more times then I will admit & more still to gangs of compys & dilophosaurs. May you live forever bud 🥲 I've got your back.

I once had a level 20 lystro named pigster because when I first found him he squealed so much but today march 27 2022 when he was killed by a wild ( the ones with the sicle claws) my other tames instantly took it out and I made a small grave for him and green back my dilo that also died in the fight

Funny story with this one. It was my first tame ever made and after a few minutes of exploring with it a FRICKING SARCO came out of no where I thought this guy would follow me but he didn't, he instead was fighting the sarco. I thought it was over but after a few minutes a message appeared that said that this guy KILLED THE SARCO. I was bruh what the f*ck. It was amazing

Just took my lystro on “The Grand Voyage” and I thought we were gonna die from a sarco but my buddy held in. He leveled up a ton, I suggest taking your passive tames with you on long, boring journeys

I have a lystro named lies. He was my first ever lystro. I tamed him since he was level 4 near the shore where there are a crap ton of dilophosaurs. He is still with me and level 43 and he will be with me forever and ever. He spends most of his time with my dodos in my house to level up my dodos. I will raise him till the end of time and I promise to myself I'll keep him safe as possible not like what I did with my first base where I let him stay close to therizino and carno forest and make him vulnerable. Now he lives happily in my house with no therizino to claw out his eyes again

So I was playing ark and named lystrosaurus chicken wing. I was being chased by a sarcosuchus one time and hit it. Chicken wing hit the sarcosuchus and died in the process of defending me. I tried saving it but it was to late. Chicken wing fought of Dilophosaurus with me but died to a sarcosuchus. Another time I got another one and named him chicken nugget and he died to raptors instead. Every time I see a raptor or sarcosuchus I attack not caring if I die. May chicken nugget and chicken wing rest in peace

When I first got ark my first tame was one of these I named it Leslie he was a brave soldier then one night a dilo started to attack it the they went into the water and Leslie died till this day I always name my lystros Leslie.

So I had one named fire butt, I was new to the game when I tamed it so I didn’t know a lot I moved to herbivore island and thought it would be a good idea to steal a brontosaurus egg ( not a good idea ) and it attacked my base and in one hit….fire butt was gone. RIP Fire Butt
