I tamed a level 15 Lystro and named it Smol Bean. I buffed up her health, stamina, and attack cause' I'm new to Ark and I'm not sure if a Lystro could attack but I did anyway. Then while I was building my thatch hut, Smol Bean was outside with me, a level 2 Carno came out of nowhere and attacked me and Smol Bean. I was panicking, I didn't make any weapons yet, so I was helpless. I wasn't prepared for this at all. I knew me and Smol Bean were gonna be massacred by this Carno, but I was wrong. Smol Bean came at the Carno and within five or ten hits, the Carno died. She was on the brink of death, but she still made it. I was both very surprised and impressed by how my sweet little Lystro took down a Carno with no fear. And in the end, I praised Smol Bean with all my love and affection.
When I was a noob I only had passive tames or dodos and stuff like that so I just made a Lystrosaurus army they were all murdered by some guy on a rex
I tracked him down planned an attack and I murdered every single pet he had
I knocked him out first and threw him in a cage then I made him watch everything of his get destroyed
I tamed a lystro and named it "Oopy Goopy'. He Dennis (my female dilo) and I would do everything together. One day, I was hunting for food for Dennis and ran after a para that broke out of it's bola. Dennis killed it, but I had a message appear: Oopy Goopy -lvl23 was killed by Argentavis -lvl53. I cried my eyes out, but had just reached level 12 and couldn't do anything about it.

Chapter 4 ~ into the snow and out of the clutches ~
The group walked through the volcanic ark, they reached the end, but this time the gap in-between this and the next ark was a much easier traversal, the ground was almost level with the metal rims of the arks. They made their way onto a forested ark, then a taiga, and finally they made it to a snowy ark. The arctic ark lay before them, with its massive mountain looming in the distance, its tip glowing in the sunset. The sun hadn’t moved, they had just gotten farther towards the dark side of the planet. “Woah.” Ron said. “Yup pretty cool huh.” Ras said as they walked into the cold wet snow, they were walking through the forest when suddenly a twig snapped, “who’ss there!” Seascale called out, pointing his trident towards the noise in the dark misty woods. Slowly a pack of sabers prowled out of the bushes. Ras chuckled and pointed a finger gun and a waving sawblade at one of the sabers, “well if it isn’t Snatcher! How’s the patrolling going?” Ras asked. “Who are these, why are they not in their cages Senior Ras.” Snatcher said in a heavy Spanish accent. “Uhhh,” Ras started, looking at the immediately distrustful members of the group, “they aren’t prisoners, duh.. uh they’re honored guests!” Ras leaned in and mouthed ‘Shut.. Up…” with an expression of rage on his face. “Oh of course, please be our guests.” Snatcher said. They continued walking but things were tense. Ras’ men were certainly outnumbered, and he knew that. He decided to play it cool, “don’t mind Snatcher, he doesn’t trust new people.” Ras said. ‘Nice job Ras they won’t suspect a thing, you’re amazing!” Said his inner voice. “Riiiight..” Ron said. They all slowed their pace, “NOW!” Nash yelled. Bones struck first grabbing Ras and throwing him across the conifer canopy, Hermes, Cerberus and the other gang members engaged. Skyla and Nash snatched Hermes off of Cerberus’ back and threw him into a thicket, a loud “OUCH!” Resounding from the thorn bushes. “Hey!” Cerberus said charging at the avian creatures, thrashing and hopping, trying to hit them out of the air. Suddenly the Chief jumped onto his back and rode him like a rampaging rodeo horse, he got a little tired and stopped jumping and thrashing as much, he looked down and saw Quan, “I am here to tuck you in.” He said. “Huh?” Cerberus exclaimed. “GOODNIGHT!” Quan said swinging his mace into the side of Cerberus’ skull. He was out cold. Between the fighting prowess of the others and Trickster unscrewing the gang’s mechanics with a screwdriver he had been carving, the rest of the gang was defeated. “Quickly, we must esscape before Rass or the ssaberss return!” Seascale said. They did, Wan followed slowly behind grumbling about how he was too old for all this.
Ark is cruel. I had a lystro and named it bobby and I go exploring for raptors and carnos to tame for protection and then a death note says your bobby (lystrosaurus) level 12 was killed by itchthyornis so I hurried back killed the seagull and tame a new one and then I went back to exploring and then I get a death note your bobby (lystrosaurus) level 12 was killed by itchthyornis so I rush back and I got another bobby. Long story short I lost 4 Bobby’s and then finally gave up

-Chapter 67-
They followed Nyx as she ran down the hill, quickly skidding to a stop as an adult Shadowmane appeared from several yards away.
The Shadowmane was large and sleek, with mainly silver and black scales, striped with several marks of purple here or there. Flaring her colorful ruff, She stood on top of a large boulder, looking down on them. “Stop right there,” She called down to them. “Why are you here, and what do you want?”
Forest began to worry they’d made a mistake, but Nyx’s face brightened at the sight of the Shadowmane. “Moonbeam!” she cried.
The Shadowmane’s threatening demeanor vanished at once. “Nyx?”
“I’m back! It’s me!”
“Nyx!” Moonbeam leaped off the boulder. She rushed over and stopped in front of the smaller Shadowmane. “Its really you! Where are the others? where have you been? and who are t h e y??” she cast a dismayed look at Forest, Crimson, Spark and Rust. Forest shrunk slightly under her sharp gaze.
“These are my friends,” Nyx explained.
“Nice to meet you,” Rust said with his most charismatic look.
“Charmed.” Moonbeam said blandly. “Nyx, what’s happened? where are the others? You were all supposed to be back three days ago. We’ve been wondering where you’ve been.”
“Stuff happened.” Nyx said. “it’s a really long story. I can explain it all at camp.”
Moonbeam nodded slowly, turning around towards the golden forest. She looked back at the Five. “Can’t wait to hear it. Come.”
