Apparently the toxin makes creatures hungry so I could use that to have all the dinos you want to tame eat super fast(not sure if it’s true but yea)

Lymantria are great for scouting. When using an Argentavis or a Pteranodon, seeing things can be difficult because their head and wings get in the way. The Lymantria doesn't have this problem. If you want to scout for high level dinos or resources, I recommend it. Just be careful as it is very frail.

If you need a lot of silk bola and kill a moth

Literally my favorite tame in ark, period. Maybe they aren't as useful as other flying creatures, but they make for really good scouts (as not many people really watch for a lymantria in the sky) and really good supports for a fight since their attack will slow medium and small creatures to an almost stop.

Plus, they are so cute!

Tamed Lymantrias make excellent base buddies. They are slow and agile - making them ideal for offloading dinos and building tall bases. They can also easily land on a target 1x1 square, and usually stay on that square if you need to turn while landed. This particularly is useful for reloading turrets or placing that last ceiling. For low level base buddies, level weight and stamina. For high level base buddies, only level weight.

Little lymantria fact, if it isnt urgent, do not fast fly. Dont waste your stamina because its fast fly isnt crazy, but it's slow fly is faster than most flying mounts slow fly, making them long distance shuttles early game

Best usable for taming, use their slow to stop an argey and have some shoot it.

I once was knocking out a rex then it started to attack a lymantria which saved my life due to the rex loosing stamina

Useful for taming,crop growing and also a good all round flyer, if you want a cargo moth push points into weight and stamina on a fully imprinted moth and you will be able to get tons of metal

Great for building anything off the ground that requires finite movement

Get one with over 10k HP, through some cake in it and soak a couple of bases, if they go online, fly high and away. They can also slow other dinos so you can hop off and take them, or others can tame the dinos that are slowed down.

It has no attack.And pump up stamina and health.

Dont recommend stealing wyvern eggs without speed at 300 or you will get mauled alive.

Looks like the temp range for the egg is between 92-97.

These guys are great first flyers and are pretty cool lookiing

They can be used to take down larger creatures by having one player gas them, and another player attack it with another mount, this tactic is useful for beginner players, or for experience.

When you kill a Lymantria, it drops silk, chitin and meat.

However, Lymantriae drop so much silk, i got around 200 on 1.5x rates on single player.

So kill one or two of these guys and desert cloth armour is basically free silk-wise, awesome for se.

The Lymantria can also be used for slowing down your foes giving you enough time to attack

They are good for weight but pump stammm
