One time one actually saved me and it wasn’t even mine. I was gathering something for my raptor bc it got hurt badly, and a huge lvl 20 rex comes stomping around and all I see is a blue flutter in front of my face and like, 2 mins later the rex is no more. I then tamed the moth, made a saddle and got my raptor and went home. Hide behind moth wings for protecting if your animal is hurt or not with u, tame the moth, and enjoy!

Easiest way is placing a tend on the Lymantria Shenyang it lands. Then you can shoot no.

First look around for enemies.

Then bola it and place a Tent so he cant fly away you can open the Tent because it dont fit through the Tent.

Now shoot him with Narcotic Darts or Narcotics Arrows till he lays.

The Lymantria has not many lives so be careful.

If he lays pick the Tent up and place spikes around him so no dino can attack him.

If you level up stamina, they are really good at stealing deinonychus eggs. If the deinonychus are on a cliff you can fly them off of it. If the deino's aggro when you steal the egg, just use your spores attack. If you do get hit by the deino's, you don't need to worry: lymantria's have low health so the bleed damage wil be really low too. Happy egg-thieving!

The best way to tame one is to bola it then tranq it in the face but be careful not to kill it and stand away from it cause it will febreeze you (slow you down)

I literally just got my boomerang and threw it at half charge, so not to kill it and tame in the open, took me 12 min (I have adjusted the advanced setting to make things faster)

Knocking out a high level lymantria within a single bola is impossible with a primitive crossbow. Instead, quickslot two pillars, two thatch ceilings, and five thatch walls. Bola the moth over flat land, then drop a pillar on one side. Ceilings next over it, then the other pillar on the other side. Hang walls from the ceilings. When it comes out of the bola, it's trapped. Tranq slowly so it won't die, and leave the trap up as a tame blind during taming. If you fail to trap it just try again; it won't flee far after a bola attack if you did no other attacks.

Honestly the best choice for stealing wyvern eggs on scorched if you’re not planning on fighting your way out.

Get a good level, pump stamina, health and speed and find you a wyvern egg, run out with wyverns on your tail and find a creature to distract the dragon.

This is after a beefed up argy or another wyvern, of course!

THE BEST WAY TO LEVEL FAST- Fly around and look for all the explorer notes. Stay on your moth mount and fly over them so that when you get the XP buff your moth levels too. You get serious levels for your mount this way.

Have one and just level weight to fallow you

for early sulfer,salt and mettel runs

These are super easy tames. Just bola them and then knock them out. My friend used 2 tranq darts and it was unconscious. Berries work but mejo berries are better. Pack some narcotics as well

Wyvern fodder for grabbing eggs

Easy taming method is to use a tent over them while they're on the ground open the door tranq and tame

Use 1 foundation, 4 walls, and a ceiling to trap it. Place foundation in front of it, bola it on foundation and build away

Just tried to make simple kibble with a moth egg (the app says it’s used for it) it did NOT work. I quadruple checked my ingredients too!

Bola it to immobilize. Then use tranq darts to knock it out, arrows will work but because they are so weak you have a better chance killing it instead of taming

When I first knocked it out I went to feed it Mejoberry Berrys but it wouldn’t eat it so I had to feed it normal Berry’s.

They are found plentifully in the main canyons as well as practically everywhere include the mountains in abundance.
