That's all you really need. It's best if you wait for it to land.

These guys are great first flyers and are pretty cool lookiing

They can be used to take down larger creatures by having one player gas them, and another player attack it with another mount, this tactic is useful for beginner players, or for experience.

These actually make great soakers with veggie cakes. Also, heal fast. Great defensive tames against soakers and Gigas. Farts reduce speed by 90 percent.

When you kill a Lymantria, it drops silk, chitin and meat.

However, Lymantriae drop so much silk, i got around 200 on 1.5x rates on single player.

So kill one or two of these guys and desert cloth armour is basically free silk-wise, awesome for se.

Two person tame. One to bola as needed. The other to place a pillar, roof sections, and doorways to trap moth. Not necessary to use Tek - thatch will do. Put spike walls around but leave enough room for a raptor to kill you and the moth.

The Lymantria can also be used for slowing down your foes giving you enough time to attack

Breed in high moth stats mine:

2180 Health

390 stam

Before leveling up.

Get saddle bp with 90-100 armor minimum.

Great for taking a wyvern beating while kiting to a trap.

Usually 5500k health once lvl up

It's a big moth, which means all you've got to do is drop a load of cloth clothing on the floor and they'll come and make giant holes in it NUM NOM NUM!

I would highly recommend building some sort of trap when taming a high level. Otherwise, without a good tier weapon, even a bola won't prevent a high level from breaking free and flying off before you knocked it out! ~L

I placed a tent on top and I started with 40 something arrows and I tamed it and ended up with 7 arrows left so make sure you have a good amount of arrows to knock them out

A 150 can take multiple tranq arrows from a master craft cross bow last time I tried to get a high level I bola it so there I am with my master craft cross bow shooting it well it eventual got free so I go back for round two I do the same thing and the same thing happened it got free and flew away

Its a pretty good tame

But I recommend level 50 and higher

And level up weight and stamina

They are good for weight but pump stammm

Very good starter mounts, and good tool for taming animals

I used a bola and shot it in the face several times. Easy take. Great starter for transportation.

You can bola these then knock it out then tame it as usual.

These guys used to be the best way to get wyvern eggs back when Scorched Earth first came out. I love them for the nostalgia.

Net it, cage it, tranq it, tame it.

One time one actually saved me and it wasn’t even mine. I was gathering something for my raptor bc it got hurt badly, and a huge lvl 20 rex comes stomping around and all I see is a blue flutter in front of my face and like, 2 mins later the rex is no more. I then tamed the moth, made a saddle and got my raptor and went home. Hide behind moth wings for protecting if your animal is hurt or not with u, tame the moth, and enjoy!
