Don't listen to the people saying it's useless. Yes it's a temporary tame. but it gives you a buff that increases the rarity of your underwater loot crates. Insanely useful for gear. That's the only thing it's for. Get one and go on a loot run.

The time that you have it tamed for is still 30 minutes after the update, the difference is that the mystic skin oil buff lasts 6 hours, and you lose the buff if you die, and only regain it by going near the liopleurodon again before it disappears

They are a limited time tame?😕

While taming the liopleurdon approach it by yourself, if you are mounted it will aggro on you.

Well now Im stuck in a pearl cave cause this sucker wont let me leave, had to sacrifice some TRexs hoping it would go, still currently trying to get out with only a scuba tank and flippers:( My raft is right above me.

Has no use at all apart from luck,see one just kill it, it takes up spawn points for coelacanths which are more usefull than the Liopleurodon because they spawn in groups and therefore provides more meat.

People are saying since July 2020 the lipleurodon has been given 6 hours of time but I am still only getting 30 minutes of time.

I just tamed this mf and suddenly anglerfish,dunkleo,and electrophorus surrounded us and i tried to swim away to escape death and i didn't know that this mf has very low stamina,speed,and even damage so they got us and i lost all of my armor flak ascendant and compound bow ascendant.I didn't even know if they can really give you a very good loot,so next time i take my 2 mosa as bodyguards

Well these are the rarest creatures in ark BUT I found 3 in the middle of the right side of the map go there to find them btw they can teleport out of existence NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN

If you’re on a tame its aggressive but if you’re alone its not so you can swim up to it

Also give a loot buff to crates and drops for 6hrs but only stays for 30 mins and only 1 spawns at a time on a map

They only aggro if you are on a mount.

Wow 27 honey for some hungover fish that leaves in thirty minutes to rip more people off and possibly steal their kidneys at candy mountain

Contrary to popular belief they spawn quite frequently and are very aggressive. They still disappear if you fight them

Not Breedable. I have a tamed male and female. They have a 30min tame timer but it can be reset if you chronicle and revive. Easy passive tame with a 10x balm and 1 honey.

P.S It is not stated in the Dododex or the dossier that these guys are a TEMPORARY, 30 MINUTE TAME!!!!!!!

In mobile some people sayo this is hostile yes it is buti also not. This thing will not attack you if your not riding anything but if you come close to it while riding a dino it will attack your dino.

If you are going to go drop running you should tame one of these they give you a luck buff that lasts for 6 hours.

Only worth it for like 50 minutes, it can give you Insane blueprints and drops from supply crates and sea crates

Mostly RPGs and Fabricated guns at ascendant level

(Only get them if you can actually craft them lol)
