PLANT SPECIES X!!!! Slows them right down. Put one on the back of your raft and not even the alpha can get you unless it comes from straight under. Add a ballista and a captain hat as well for added effect.

Prime meat can be harvested from this without killing it

Imagine this: leedsichthys tameable and rideable. They can harvest metal and oil. They had a platform saddle. They could swallow fish hole and carry them around alive. WELL THEY ARENT TAMABLE! They would be op as a tame.

Oh perfect, now I have to move back to the land again before my raft base is eaten.

There heads have a damage resistance so aim for the body

They can spawn at surface areas at the bottom south, even near the shore with all the rocks.

One was unfortunate enough to spawn and get stuck on a rock, so i have a trapped Leed with no effort involved.

You might find one there too, if your lucky.

Okay, um their is a person here stating there is no alpha version of this But actually there is! And if your traveling with a raft it's recommended to throw honey at them to stop them, and you can scrape some meat from it, very useful if you ask me, I recommend trapping it for infinite fish meat but there's a cool down from scaping meat from it, hope this helps☺️

Encountered an Alpha Leed next to the southern island. Two tapped my raft lol

They dont attack rafts on mobile,

For PC or console players use a motorboat to outrun a normal leed

The only reason you can’t tame it is because people would scrape them and feed them their own meat. 🥩

If near the shore, can be used to get some prime fish to help a tame or meat to spoil in early game. Can be quite helpful

The leedsichthys is the one of the largest sea creatures out there and takes pride in destroying or damaging player created rafts. However the leedsichthys can also be interacted with and used as a fish meat farm as it overtime generates fish meat that can be collected on the outside of its body, therefore making it useful to keep them in a water pen if tribes wish to store fish meat. If a albino leedsichthys is found and killed the player that killed the beast will revive item skins.

Its very useful for taming aquatic dinos, you can get prime and normal fish meat from these big bois, i have one next to my base and i named him "Ash" :>

If you are on a raft sailing the seas and encounter one of these, sail to the closest piece of land as quick as possible, (GG for u if it’s an alpha one). If on a motorboat, do the same thing! You might be able to out run it but if it’s an alpha, it would be better to take a little damage and spare yourself the hard work of making another one.

Fun fact: They give Prime FISH meat. Not normal prime meat.
