TIPP: How to trap a Leedsichthy (the giant whale)

In this tutorial I will Show you how to easily trap a Leedsichthy.

Before I start with the tutorial i want to say that there are 2 ways to trap him. The 1st way is that you build a giant square inside the water where he can fit in and the 2nd war is that you leed him inside the "river" of the Red Obelisk and close both entrys to the river. Just follow those steps:

1) surch for a Leedsichthy and remember where he is (they often spawn near Herbivore Island)

2) Go to the Bottom of the ocean and surch for a Ammonite. When you find one let him bite you.

3) go to the leedsichthy and lead him inside your giant square or the river of the Red obelisk and close up all entrys.

4) kill all fishes except the Leedsichthy

5) Enjoy scrabing of his prime fish meat (he wont get aggro as long as you dont hit him)

I trapped mine inside the River of the Obelisk

I don't believe they can break metal rafts. But now I'm gonna tame a shit ton of megalodons and attack the damn thing for destroying my wood base

I don’t know if this is a glitch for my solo player on mobile but these guys don’t attack your raft. I learned this when I was trying to trap one at herbivore island.

They actually are tame-able and peaceful if you use the force tame command and they still give prime fish meat

Super easy tame! Just use a club and some berries.

This Massive aquatic Nintendo direct lives to disappoint, it will destroy any raft you make on almost any map. I wouldn’t even recommend learning the raft engram except to get across rivers where piranhas exist.

It’s an easy passive tame, all you have to is feed it three boats.

This cannot be tamed, but can be harvested for prime fish without killing it. Easiest way to find it is to make several rafts, and dot the open water with them all around the Herbivore Island/wherever you see Leeds. Don't scatter them far across the map, unless you give each names. When one dies, just fly/walk/swim/raft over to the boats, and harvest meat, then kill it.

You can use a raft to passive tame this beast

Only encounter a leedsichtys if you have a water mount. Whatever you do, do not bring a raft. I repeat, DO NOT BRING A RAFT!

When building a capture ship or mobile base on the sea try lowering the foundation into the raft to protect it from this beast. Use stone or higher

If you find one just know if all you have is a raft then raft goes by by. Then you get out of your boat to swim to shore and get killed by a shark or jellyfish or piranha
