These thing are basically living spike walls, they impaled my dodo, so I got out my lvl.378 Rex, Fully imprinted, 60k+ health, 4000 melee, 215+speed. So after a great day out in the abb zone, murdering spino after spino, karkino after karkino, even taking down an alpha karkino, Me and my wyvern were ready to head home to a heroes welcome BUT....I was unfortunate enough to run out of stamina half way and landed next to two of these pricks (no pun intended). Ember was dead before she could catch a single breath...

They do percentage based damage and with the ability to stop you moving, these things are actually more dangerous than a giga...

It's best to leave them alone unless you want to tame them. They act like spike walls, so you and your dino take damage when you melee it, and it's a lot of damage, even low level ones do a lot. If you want to kill one, it's best to use ranged attacks like a gun or a wyvern blast.

Kentro' CAN NOT be tamed with sweet veggie cakes. They don't eat them

Don't knock these buggers out while your impaled, you'll be stuck on it until it's tamed!

While a Giga can easily kill a kentro, biting kentros causes the Giga to fill its rage bar incredibly quickly, making them great for disrupting tamed Giga raids in pvp

Found in northern part of map near and around mountains. DON’T get too close or they will attack regardless of what mount you have!!! Taming one of these takes a long time.

I tamed one easy by knocking out with level 73 equus only taking 5 kicks to knock out then feed ,up if this was helpful

So I attacked it with a wolf and I got took off the wolf by it then it grabbed wolf with tail and took 6000 hp damage with two shakes of its tail

think they'd be great for base defense

Taming this Dino without kibble is like having a baby, hella annoying hella time consuming and way more expensive than it should be

These are arks guard dogs and have the the ability to inpale small mostly defensiveness woodland creatures good pared with purlovia to stun larger beasts

Don't get impaled by this guy, does a fair amount of damage and will get you stuck for 10 seconds.

My all-time favorite base defense involves having a huge herd of Kentrosaurus with some Troodons, Microraptors, and a Pegomastax just for fun.
