If it's distracted enough or you can get to it's rear legs you can basically ankle bite it to death

To knock it out use a net launcher to trap it ana use a catapult and aim for the abdomen if you hit the legs it might restart the process I find a lot of mine in the nameless venom cave

Pacer with platform saddle worked pretty well for me

You can tame these by having it walk behind you, place a dino gate on top of his head, then the closest you can right behind him. On foot it'll be kinda difficult but if you have a tame that can tank him for a few seconds it's really easy. Then you can make a catapolt a little aways and a little high up. I used 4 pillars and a ceiling for mine.

Guys don’t waste ur time making traps and boulders. Simply net him and bombard his face ONCE. I was stuck for more than an hour trying to hit the right spot

As I just found out, you can actually tame these by using a tek stryder that has the Cannon attachment, you just have to wait for them to get close enough, and then shoot it on the back

Platform saddle with catapult on it worked for me. Also if you aim dead center on the head it still does torpor.

How do you stop it from jumping out of the trap

It's good to tame them by netting them and then shooting them in there back to knock unconscious try using boulders then cannonballs, they will be killed if you hit them in there limbs (you can use a rocket launcher but it will almost always kill it before knocking it out.

If you play on a server with S+ Structures, you can use the s+ propagator to breed unbreedable dinos like karkinos and griffin

If you are having trouble with it bot staying still for you to hit it with Boulders just Net the thing it becomes soooo much easier. Wish I would have known thar the first time I tried getting on as I spent 4 hours waiting on its health regen because I didn't know I could just Net it and keep it facing me

My brother joined on split screen with me far away from my base tho and there was two Karkinos in a river HE RAN DOWN THERE.He got grabbed I took his controller and I the attacked it and then the first one died the second be like MY FOOD MY PREY.And got him while a spino was killing it luckily

The new best way to tame of these boys is to net gun them and then catapult them when they are trapped. No more glitchy crab AI!

Wild Karks - Do not dismount within their aggro range, they can usually then target you and pull you off. Rock Drakes protect you from this, but dismounting and remounting nearby the Kark will allow it to target you. Basilos, usually immune to everything, you can be pulled off of as well.
