If your ever in an area with these i recommend not going there on a raptor. Not once not twice but three times one of these some bitches have taken me off my raptor and they all three times have glitched into the ground or became invisible and inaccessible then just glitched away for ever... All three raptors were 100+ lvl.. I cried!

Not much health and easy to kill with fists but still fuck them

I was riding through the swamp on top of my 2 story raft with my tribe member driving. We was having a good time shooting things when all of a sudden I look over and see this thing flying at me. Took me off of the dang raft! He drove me atleast 300 ft in a matter of 3 seconds! I pulled out my sword and killed him and looked over and a level 130 sarco devoured me. These guys are dicks. Watch out.

I got away from it when it had me in its mouth by grappling away.

Bola tribe members,pick them up and drop into swamp for a prank

If you see them run to your quetz and get up high and fly to base listen to them gettin mad at you through party and laugh your head off

Tame it

Pick up with a Argent then drop into a 2x3 taming pen you have time to get meat as the torpor does go down that fast then feed till tamed you can even do prime meat as torpor doesn't decrease fast

DO NOT EVER STOP FOR STAMINA IT WILL KILL YOU VERY FAST

With a 254.7% weapon damage crossbow it took 6 tranq arrows

Make a taming pen that is at least 6 fences high so they can't jump out then go around the swamp with an argy. Once you find one Lure it out of the water then pick it up and throw it into the pen. And since you can shoot crossbow bolts through the fence it should be easy to knock out. Just don't let it pick you up in its mouth

The Kapro is another Dino with low health but relatively low torpor. Tranq darts if you want to be safe, but tranq arrows work as well. Bola is a good way to incapacitate them for your safety. Watch the torpor after knock out because it drops quicker than normal, but it's not insanely fast or anything. Tapejara kibble is the preferred, or any other kind of meat.

These things are killing machines.so I was walking around in the swamp when it appeared out of nowhere it ripped some skin off me and smashed me against a tree I managed to escape its jaws and climbed a rock then foolishly decided to kill it even if I got away I hit it once and it hit me losing half of my health……… I hit it again and I was not expecting it to snag my arm in its jaws and tug me off the rock!!! It smashed me against the rock I got away and it chased me I tried to jump off a nearby cliff but I jumped and right before I fell it snapped it’s jaws onto my arm pulling me back onto land.bleeding and crying in fear I stared at it it then roared at me and mauled me then everything went dark!…………………so if you are a newbie and are in the swamp for the first time if it says dangerous area……RUN!

Use a net gun first then tranq arrowstill knockedout. Use kibble it is the best but raw meat will do

Jump scares are best then you panic

Tips on battling Kapros:

1) Have good armor/ weapons (if possible).

2) Have high health and stamina (if possible).

3) Try to lure Kapros away from other creatures.

4) A Kapro's jump can be blocked by a rock or tree. Fight near one and go behind it when the Kapro jumps.

5) Never turn your back to a Kapro. Run backwards and sideways while fighting. Even if it grabs you while you're facing towards it, hits are easier to place.

6) A wild Kapro on land USUALLY will jump only if you are 2 or more foundations away from it. Use it to your advantage by running in tight circles around the Kapro. Be ready to take some damage from bites though.
