When taming keep away from other predotors and get lots of narcos

Get too an advantage point. Get up on a hill then shoot it with tranquilizer arrows or darts. Bring bolas just in case. Shoot as quickly as possible before it reaches you. Usually an easy tame.

Can be picked up with an argen and are vary useful. Can carry small tames in its mouth and can easily take on low level spino's and Rex's, if you get a high level one. Just pick up with argen tranq it, collect prime and have a nice level one in about an hour on double.

They are easy to knock out. But watch out because they can jump.

They are quite easy to knock out, dodge the pounce and it's easy, or use a high mount, such as a rex and have it on passive. They are great at covering distance but have low hp. They are more of a fun play about mount.

I found a good way to knock one out is to let it pick you up and then start hitting it with whatever you have chosen to use to knock it out with club, boomerang ect.

If under green pillar for scorched use bolas. Stay higher up than it is theses things are fast and can jump so Becareful.

try standing on a rex thats able to take some hits if you want a high lvl it will try to kill you than just keep shooting if it runs away folow it and shoot 1 or 2 more times

Throw on some decent armor, toss it in a pen and jump right in there with it. When it grabs you just shoot it. Easy peasy.

Their special attack can be used to travel fair quickly during sandstorms on scorched earth

Always be aware while looking for one in the swamp they have a knack for sneak pouncing, always carry bolas

How I tamed mine is when it's jumping crouch to avoid it then shoot it it's kinda hard however. If not try to shoot from a distance.

Addendum to my previous tip- you can bola them, but it doesn't stop them from doing a leap n'drag to pull you to the water. Just had one bolad that jumped at me and carried me to the water nearby before I tranqed it

Normally swamp rafting is a safe endeavor but after trying to transport 12 animals I lost 3 because they can aggro on dinos through wood as well as deal damage.

Also letting you know they can somehow clip into the interior of the raft of big enough and eat your dinos on the inside. I have a sunken foundation raft except for one foundation but stone is crucial for protection against moderate threats.

To kill one you MUST HAVE A SWORD attack it with your strong tame and when your grabbed attack with sword

If you're starting genesis, these guys are everywhere in the swamps. In my opinion, they make the bog biome tougher than the arctic. They can jump high enough to take you off of a wyverns back. They're also strong enough to snatch your smaller mounts(moschops) and just carry them off into the swamp. Best thing to do if one of these guys gets ahold of you, don't panic. Just look down and give em hell!

I found that if you fly just below the tree tops they can't get you:)

If u have electric prods, use 1 to know out a kapro. If it’s level 5 or less, it will knock out with 1 use. Just tested it. (Mobile btw idk if it’s same for PC)

I killed 3 with a spear there easier to kill with metal pikes and metal sword
