Tips & Strategies

What are tips for iguanodon? Tips and strategies for iguanodon in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
So this thing has two stances. A travel stance and a combat stance. Travel stance is when it stands on all fours. It has infinite stamina while running, and can even regenerate stamina while running in travel stance. Combat stance is activated when you are in travel stance and you try to attack with your iguanodon. It stands on its hind legs and points its thumbs outwards. It drains stamina and your Iguanodon walks slower. You can switch back to travel stance by dismounting and waiting for a second before it goes back on all fours again, or if you set alt attack 2 either side (mobile btw because never played pc) just press with 2 fingers and it will go into travel stance.

I love dos dionosaurio and the Iguanodon
is very ushful
Their infinite running stamina is paradise on 4 legs.., but their standing mode is kinda useless in comparison. Great for getting thatch and berries, takes about 3 tranq arrows to knock out, relatively easy tame, and a cheap saddle. Yes they fight back, but you should definitely pick one up if you’re a beginner or even a pretty experienced player.
I saw the male iguanadon me and my phiomia but we need slingshot club wooden fountain fence and thatch or wooden wall and i knock him out first feed some soothing balm and berries and i named him jacob
If you can't build a trap because you are short on resources build a tower with three wooden pillars (with 3 ladders). They can't reach you and their face is inches away. Easy head shots. This cheap technique can be used for smaller predictors as well such as raptors. Make sure you are ready for it when it runs away. It is faster than you. May your aim be pure and true.
I got this creature early on in the game and it is the best thing that ever happened to me. It is the most versatile mount I have ever seen. It has decent weight ( def better than a parasaur). And it has good health and attack too to get you out of bad situations when taming. My lv50 beat a low level carno coming after my taming spino. Also it can turn fruits and veggies into seeds making it essential for farming. But what I love most about it is it's near infinite stamina making it a great travel mount if you want to go by land. I definitely would recommend taming this Dino if you don't have it yet.
Feed it berries cause mejos take the same time but with a higher lvl use mejos

Two Tame him choose tranquilizer darts careful don't kill him with it
Ok guys iggys are my FAVORITE Dino of all time and so when I saw one I was like yesssssssss. It was... hard to tame actually cus I thought he will just run away when u attack. So I died but then I came up with a plan. I returned and got my loot then I equipped some tranquilizer arrows I got from a sarco and I use the two darts to trank him.. well he got mad and wasent exactly nocked out so I waited to see if he would nock out. But he didn’t so I took a club and did it my self. If you trank one with two arows wait for him to get a low health so he will run instead of attack then just finish the job. It is easy from there bc you just feed them barries they LOVE barries and I just used some blue and yellow ones and he was tamed with out anything else to keep him asleep. So if you wana tame this remember my story with my new fav pet. Like so noobs can see
Use mejo berries dobt bitger with kibble or crops
I know this is weird, but I have a level 149 after tame, and a level 176 saber after tame, and this guy can take out rexes faster than my saber can😭. But my saber does have wag more health, these guys health and health boosts are horrible. I know no one would use an iguanadon to fight rexes but I'm ballsy like that😜
How do you ride it or are you even able to ride it ????
I give it a 2 thumbs up for it
