One of the best starter Dino I can recommend. Saddle is level 30. Great for starting a farm considering that It has a weird ability to take berries and make that berries seed.

Very good creature. Like a parasaur but can do lots of damage. Easy to tame good Dino for beginners.

By far one of the best early game dinos. Incredible early game carry weight especially for their size. Currently I live on a giant raft in single player and use about 4 of these (sitting off to the side of the raft) to hold miscellaneous stuff that would take up space in containers. Also can’t forget about this probably being your most useful rideable travel Dino early on with infinite stamina run mode. All in all decently easy to find, easy to tame, and all around great for storage and travel (5/5) ★★★★★

These things are awesome when starting. Me and my brother managed to tame a 450 and 300! (It took a bit because of the high levels tho). They could kill pretty much anything! Not a giga tho lol. We would travel the map collecting notes and finishing pursuits. The iggys “Nugget and LemonDrop” could seed fruit when we started to grow crops. And since they have infinite stamina when running on all fours we could basically escape anything that was too strong to fight.

They are easy to tame all you need is a bola some purple berries I used 38 to tame mine but you should get more then 20 give them the berries wait until done taming and you have one they were very fast and cool

Deciding whether to tame these or the Parasaurolophus? Go for the Iguandodon.

An easy tame a nd easy to make saddle these are probably the best early to mid game utility dino you can get. They have good carry weight and decent attack damage and if you put levels in health you can use it to easily transport items across dangerous areas

This is a must have it is great for speed and gathering. It only uses stamina for attacking not running and it can plat seed not in a crop plant

Personally my favorite early game tame. Upgrade Health, Weight, Stamina (possibly), and speed (I like mine at 130). Carries alot and harvests tons berries while being able to fight.

Upgrade movement speed or melee damage. Take the berries you need and press the drop all button if overweight.

When riding , swipe up on the left side of the screen to stand up, and down agin to go back to all fours

These are an amazing mount. I was able to easily kill parasaurs and such on my iguanadon. When quadrupedal (walking on 4 legs) they are sooooooo damn fast. On Xbox press LT to switch from quadrupedal to bipedal and vice versa. When bipedal they run slower (about the same speed as a parasaur) and attack when you press RT. They are good for collecting thatch and berries as well.

To Knock Out This Creature ( If You're A Lower Level ) Use A Club And I Recommend Crafting Some Bolas To Keep It From Running Away After You Use The Bola Hit It's Head With A Club Until You Knock It Out After It's Knocked Out Go Gather Some Berries From Bushes Mostly Gather "NarcoBerries" And "MejoBerries" NarcoBerries Are Used To Keep The Creature Knocked Out MejoBerries Are The Best Berries For Taming Herbivores Put The NarcoBerries In The Iguanodons Inventory Then When The "Unconscious" Meter Goes Down Feed It The NarcoBerry To Keep It Unconscious Then Place The MejoBerries In It's Inventory Now Remember "DONT FORCE FEED THE MEJOBERRIES TO THE CREATURE IT WILL NOT TAME ITLL JUST EAT THE BERRY AND NOT TAME" Just Let It Eat The Berry And You Should Be Good!

They are very good at collecting berries and other crops from vegetation. Also if your looking for seeds they pick those up too and they even help with planting them as well.

This guy can gather everything, thatch, wood, berries, and I use it to run around on infinite stam mode and get some metal (so it's basically a pack mule).

Perfect for a beginner because it collects berries. On all 4 it has great stamina. Can carry a ton of goods and can fight at least smaller dinos. Great upgrade from the parasaur.

Forget equites! These have infinite stam and are so fast if u lvl up speed a few times. Only thing ever come close to catching up with mine is a lvl 100 allo

I just want to say, go for the tame, but be 100% sure you will get it, if you don’t it will find you later on and start hitting you. Good luck!
