So, I've been playing less and less recently, and I figured that Genesis 1 would get me back in since I have the crutch of hexagons, but I have found it to be a bit difficult to start out, especially since the Bog is unwelcoming and Ocean only has base resources.

I suggest you tame one up for Bog exploration, it will increase your travel speed and survivability.

Iguanadons are upgraded paras. They have the ability to transform berries into seeds, extremely fast Stam regen, and the ability to walk and run on two legs. They are great at gathering berries and thatch, can run very fast and drain little stamina. This is a great early game dinosaur, and Is a heavily upgraded Para. It has proven to be very useful in gathering.

I rate this, 6/10, and it is worth getting.

A high level one makes for a better combat dino than carnos. Not to mention, the infinite stam is perfect for escaping things, taming, etc. Tame a high level, its so worth it!

How To Tame An Iggy

1. Bola the Iggy.

2. Punch, club, or shoot Tranqs at the Iggy.

3. Once it’s K.O, feed carrots, berries or kibble!

4. Your Iggy is ready!

In its lower stance it doesn't drain its stamina. It can carry a lot of weight. Gathers thatch quickly. Can defent itself well and when it gets into a pickle you can use that lowers stance to run away without fear of running out of stamina (my favorite feature). Fast with that stamina advantage, it can be used for traveling far or scouting. My favorite utility dino in early game.

Get a bola and a club and then Bola it and club it’s tale

When taming make sure there’s no others around, I learned the hard way but luckily didn’t die there was only 1 attacking me.

Yes these are good, but when you are trying to get on the saddle, you accidentally turn all the berries into seeds. I have done this a hundred times, and eventually I just gave up on it.

Bolas do work on these guys, I do not know how people are getting ratified for lying that bolas don’t work.

Has great speed as a low level and it can get you started on any size of farm. This is also my favorite dinosaur

Find it easily to be one of the most versatile tames in the game, good carry weight, can hold its own in a fight and unlimited stamina when running on all fours, not to say try to fight off a Rex with it but it's a brilliant tame nonetheless

This tip applies for all herbivores when your getting attacked use them as a shield must be wild
