Make a cage with Woden walls because if you don't, he will get away

For people confusing whether or not they lose aggro when tamed on mobile,here's the answer I got after taming and testing around 100 of those dolphins.

1.They will become invincible (literally) by any creature if you tame them when there's no aggressive dinos around in your render distance(both land and sea dinos count)

2.They will become living rage shark baits if you tame the when there are aggressive dinos AROUND or IN THE RENDER DISTANCE.And by that I mean they will aggro creatures more than any tame in the game now calling even megs out of render distance and eels from boarderline render range.They essentially became sea pachyrhinos in constant rage pheromones buff for aggressive creatures.

So here's my tame.Tame them ONLY in herbivore island inner shore if you want the invisible buff and kill any shark or manta that spawned in there before taming them.

Megs and other creatures will only not kill you on a ichyosaurus if your on mobile. Just trying to stop the war if they can be invincible or not.. Also, only mobile players can get ascendant saddle. Kk bye!

Raw prime fish meat works wonders. Just be sure to bring enough for all who show up. If ya feed one more will just pop up outta nowhere

on Mobile you can tame it with raw meat! wayyyyy faster than the raw fish meat.

Can’t count how many times wasted on taming a high level of this shitface

I went to the herb island and tamed 5 of these, and they kill a meg without any of them dying

How to Tame an Ichthyosaurus

With Dodo Kibble

1. Activate the “Tame: Ichthyosaurus” pursuit. If it doesn’t show up, you haven’t completed the “Tame: Dodo” pursuit yet.

2. Make Dodo Kibble (2 for level 30, 4 for level 150, 7 for level 300, and 10 for level 450).

3. Find an Ichthyosaurus—don’t worry, they don’t bite—and feed it Dodo Kibble. Do this every time the Ichthyosaurus is hungry.

4. Once it’s tamed, the pursuit will reward you with a saddle—and the Old Smelly Fish skin—for your new Ichthyosaurus.

Without Dodo Kibble

1. Activate the “Tame: Ichthyosaurus” pursuit. If it doesn’t show up, you haven’t completed the “Tame: Dodo” pursuit yet.

2. Kill some dinosaurs and harvest their corpses with a pickaxe for Raw Meat (12 for level 30, 40 for level 150, 75 for level 300, and 111 for level 450).

3. Find an Ichthyosaurus—don’t worry, they don’t bite—and feed it Raw Meat. Do this every time the Ichthyosaurus is hungry.

4. Once it’s tamed, the pursuit will reward you with a saddle—and the Old Smelly Fish skin—for your new Ichthyosaurus.

Unlike the Meg

Once you get the saddle give the turtle you tamed a lot of speed and lure some itchys to the shallows just make sure they don’t go on land

The ichthyosaurus has now sadly lost the de-aggro ability in mobile.......

Make certain that after you've successfully tamed it you make it stop following you before you run out of the water. Poor, sweet, sad, dead fishy... :(

Passive taming is currently broken in ark mobile you they don't get hungry after feeding them once.

So I’m on mobile and it tames pretty easily (Love you Salmon❤️) but DONT TAKE IT INTO SHALLOW WATER, IT WILL GET STUCK! Poor salmon is stuck...I love these guys but I wish they didn’t get stuck as much

The ichyosaurus is really hard to tame what i do is find a hight level ichthyosaurus and kill all the dangrouse creatures around it and start taming it with dodo kibble and raw fish meat you probably need a raft to go in to the ocean to tame this ichthyosaurus.

Easy, great tame!

Things to note before taming:

-feeding one causes others to appear

-they have bad health and melee damage, but make up for it in speed

-best fighters against megalodons in packs

Here’s how to tame:

Find ichthyosaurus away from dangerous creatures like mantas and megalodons. You also will want one near the shore. Next, put raw meat (prime or reg.) in slot 0. Swim and approach the ichthy. It will be curious. Quickly feed it meat. Prime meat sometimes tames an ichthy instantly on taming multiplier three. Make sure it was away from Megs! Any megs around will now try to attack you sea creature. If attempting to take one near dangerous creatures, bring an ichthy saddle so you can hop right on and swim to safety. Your new ichthy probably will cause others to appear. If so, you should tame them. You could have a pack of 8 with upgraded melee damage and health, and they could easily beat a megalodon!

Where do you find these because the only place I can is the ocean and its teeming with megladons

Build a water pen to lure them back to before you try and tame them can be a nightmare chasing them around

Get dodo kibble then boom (on mobile you get a free saddle for doing the mission and nothing agros to you when you ride it.)
