I tamed a max level (lvl 450 in brutal hardcore in mobile) Ichthy which ended up taking into level 671 as my first tame, like really early on when I was level 16 and to my surprise he was an absolute beast. And by that I mean AN ABSOLUTE BEAST. He was practically speeding me from one side of the map to the other I thought my soul left my body when he just zoomed off right after I finished taming-
I could swim so far down in such early stages of the game with no fear of drowning because of my newly befriend steroids inducing beast.
And bro don’t even get me started on the combat and damage. It was a complete massacre.
He was taking on packs upon packs of megalodons, plesio, mosa and even tusos almost with no rest completely unscathed- and the thing about ichthys in ark mobile is that NOTHING AGROS ON THEM. Even when your Ichthy attacks they just completely ignore you (Unless you hop off when near something or attack the dino yourself as the player)
With that I immediately started soaring through levels with him by my side. He brought every sea creature scampering to their knees, to their last dying breath with me poking them with a stick for the final blow
After some time, terrorising the sea free of charge, I finally came across the opposing creature there.
The alpha mosa level 372.
Would it curve to the iron will of my god levelled Ichthy or would it finally be the creature which stood up against my tyranny? I watched closely with hitched breath for days upon the discovery, traced a path for when I needed oxegyn, prepared my newly crafted adescent hide armour and finally at dawn I charged.
aND with all that anticipation APPARENTLY EVEN THE ALPHA MOSA WOULDN’T AGRO
So yeah I just nibbled on its tail and swam back and forth for air and simply nailed it with a pike, again. Unscathed.
I spend most of my time gathering levels inland now but my tamed will never compare to the journeys I’ve had with my Ichthy, I made him his own underwater throne room in the rock pool in the southern coast (rock tower/pillar area) for his retirement.
His name is Bloodbath, ancient and old to this day. A name of a red goldfish which dug the graves of the many.

I was taming 3 ichtys (I was gonna feed the trio and keep the 1 who got tamed first) when they ran away, (ichtys swim away after feeding) they went in 3 directions (most of them swam to the nearby megalodon) and I waited for them to come back, but they never did, i activated the tame tracker (I’m playing ultimate mobile) 1 was in a nearby river (with a second megalodon) 1 was in front of me, and one was near the shore, I decided to tame the shore dolphin but I soon realized… IT WAS LEVITATING!!! So I tamed it (which was actually very easy cause it didn’t move) and named it dolphin in Ohio

me and my friend were enjoying life we tamed a dolphin and it got stuck so we kept it there for a day but it got kiled by a piranha so we grabbed the gun and started killing people on the streets until elmo pulled up and started shooting our house and it blew up so we turned into batman and yeah the rest is history

Chapter 47: Beasts of the Past - Tyrant King
Part 1/2
The two quietly snuck up near the Tyrannosaurus, crawling through the snow like soldiers in a violent war. Before leaving they had grabbed longneck rifles and tranq darts, which Dr. Aston had made more after yesterday’s incident.
“So did you ever tame anything in your past times?” Loki whispered curiously. The Tyrannosaurus leaned forward and began assaulting a pack of five Mammoths. It effortlessly tore through all of them, ripping chunks of flesh and leaving nothing but blood and bones in its wake. It surely was a powerful thing.
“Yes. This was definitely one of the harder ones to tame though,” Mr. Ma replied.
“Would you say it’s the hardest?”
Mr. Ma shuddered at his question, his face turning white.
“No. There is certainly something much more powerful and violent than the Tyrannosaurus. Larger too. And its roar… it makes your bones vibrate, and your head hurt.”
“What is it?”
“...You don’t wanna know, Loki.”
Mr. Ma brushed snow off his rifle and aimed at the Rex.
“Prepare to shoot, Loki.”
Loki aimed his rifle as well, and at the same time, they pulled the trigger.
PEW PEW!
The two tranq darts flew through the air and pierced the Rex’s skin. It let out an irritated roar, and turned around, blood dripping from its teeth into the snow. Loki’s eyes began to waver as blood dripped onto his hands.
“It can’t see us, right?” Loki whispered in fear.
Snow poured from the clouds above, and the Tyrannosaurus looked around, its head moving back and forth. One of its eyes looked right at Loki, and he gulped in fear. Yet still, it didn’t seem to have spotted him.
With booming steps, the Rex began to move forward.
Boom, boom, boom! The Rex lifted its foot and was about to step on Loki, when…
Someone grabbed him by the arms and jolted him away. Loki tumbled through the snow, putting a hand on his rifle. It was Maddox! He had a rifle of his own in his hand, and gave Loki the peace symbol.
“You really think I would let you and Mr. Mo do this alone?” Maddox asked.
Loki smiled for a bit, but his smile turned to a frown as the Rex leaned down to eat Maddox. Loki pointed.
“Watch out-”
A dart flew through the air and hit the Rex in the head. It let out an irritated roar and turned to face its attacker. Mr. Ma. Mr. Ma winked at Maddox.
The underwater war #2: a meg dragged a Rex under, drowning it. Then a meteor hit a spinosourus almost killing it, then a baslaaour killed it, the water around the corpse started turning red, from all the blood. A wyvern attacked a small dire bear. But then a spino attacked and ate the wyvern, crushing it bones. A pack of 40 compys then attacked a sarco, but the sarco survived. A meg attacked a Rex but then a yuty came to help beach it, they ate the flesh thirsty for blood. A titan boa then constricted a giant rock titan, then eating it whole.the titan boa then spat out all the stones, Yuck! Said the titan boa. A Rex then tried to attack the boa, but a queen crystal whyvern grabbed the Rex and killed it throwing it on a lot of sharp stones, from a great hight.
Well, I was riding my own Icthy I decided to go around killing the other ones to help with my tams sense One of my patrons died to two allos and the other one died to a cat in the forest. they don’t run away if you attack them with fun of their own💀 pretty sure this only works on these though I’ll give you updates on other creatures if I find things
I was just looking through my pursuits (I was lvl 27) and saw the Tame Icthysaurus. I was like “Hey I haven’t tamed one of those dolphins yet, I should get one” so I hopped on my highest lvl raptor and speed swam to the spot. There were 2 male Icthys wandering around. They came over to cuddle with Toxic, the raptor. I tamed them both and made a small Icthy room. Names are now Milk and BlackBerry. I used blackberry to get fish meat. I saw more icthys so I tried to tame them but a manga almost killed Blackberry so I headed home. 🐬🐠🐋🦈🐙🦑🦞🦐🐊
Local noob here! Finally tamed my first ichthys near the passive island the other day (on mobile). The waters around the area were infested with megalodons (as well as a basilosaurus in the island’s bay) and I had to use my beloved pelagornis, Schmeargle, to lure the nearby megalodons to where I could shoot them to death with a crossbow. After that, I tamed a pair of ichthyosaurs, Ogloggle and Cough Medicine (names suggested by a friend). I swam to another spot on the island and the second I dismounted, an angry megalodon started attacking Ogloggle and Cough Medicine. They managed to kill the beast without any help from me or Schmeargle. I love these funky little dudes.
I have 2 stories. 1st. I was taming 4 of them at once and then tamed all of them. But then those stupid (sorry for my language) jellyfish things tried to attack me so they started tryna kill em. But 2 of my 4 icthys were killed so I went on mass genicide on jellyfish lol. 2. I was taming 6 more when I was attacked by megs. I was racin to shore but then one of my icthys ( his name is mr fishy) started attacking the 3 megs. I thought he was dead meat but then I saw on my screen, Your level ? ( sorry forgot it’s level) icthy has killed a level 21 meg x3.

“Thanks for helping Loki. Now, let’s finish this!”
Chloe began to run backwards, pointing his rifle and shooting another dart at the Rex. Loki did the same once he finished reloading. The Rex let out a furious roar and stomped its foot into the snow, flailing its tiny arms about until letting out a fearsome roar that shook the ground.
ROARRRRR!
Chloe’s finger began to shake on the trigger, and her eyes widened. Her body began to shake.
“What’s- happening?” Chloe asked as he began to shake, “I can’t move…”
Loki felt unaffected by this change, however. He took another shot at the Rex and grabbed Chloe by the arm, leading her away from the danger. As Chloe stumbled along and the Rex continued to chase them, Chloe blinked his eyes and shook her head, no longer in shock.
“Ah ha!” Chloe shouted. She aimed her rifle with one arm and shot again. Pew!
The Rex was definitely beginning to get drowsier. Its steps began to grow slower, and its eyelids began to droop. One more stumble, and it began to sway back and forth. Mr. Ma let out a laugh as he shot another dart.
“It’s almost down! Put your all into it kiddos!”
Chloe and Loki reloaded their rifles as quickly as they could, and then they aimed at the Rex, taking one final shot…
As the darts made their target, the Rex let out a bellow of defeat, and collapsed to the ground.
“Ha ha ha! We did it!” Mr. Ma exclaimed in joy. He giddily ran up to the Rex and began to feed it some of the meat he had gathered in the morning. Chloe turned to Loki and gave him a grin.
“Nice,” Chloe turned to Mr. Ma, “Hey can I name him?”
“Yeah sure, go for it.”
Chloe grinned harder and walked up to the Rex, caressing his jawline.
“I’m thinking… Crusher.”
They spent the next half hour waiting for the Tyrannosaurus to awake and be theirs.
The three walk back to the settlement, Crusher following closely behind. Loki could see Brad and his goons shaking in their boots as they approached town.
“T-T-T-T-REX!” Brad shook as he pointed a crooked finger at Crusher. Brad’s goons began to run away, and as Brad tried to run away he slipped and fell into the snow. Brad turned around with wide eyes as the Rex leaned forward and began to smell Brad’s scent.
“Me, Mr. Mo, and Chloe have tamed a Tyrannosaurus to devour anyone who does not listen for the betterment of this camp!” Loki’s voice boomed, “You have all taken things too far… So now it’s time we have the nonsense stop! We won’t let anyone hold us back!”
Everyone seemed to oblige, nodding intensely and sweating profusely. Loki frowned, he right about expected Mr. Ma to put a hand on his shoulder and scold him for being too violent…
But Mr. Ma patted him on the back.
Loki turned around and Mr. Ma smiled at him.
“You were ruthless,” Mr. Ma said with a grin. Chloe smiled and nodded along.
“Yeah, Mr. Ma's right. That was pretty cool. Not bad, Loki.”
I started another ark mobile save cuz I lost my first one and tamed an ichthy for some reason the water creatures started attacking it they don't do that so I wonder did they make the creatures aggressive to the ichthy if it's true then I guess baryonyx is my new choice to tame mosa and plesi
My best tame is an icthy named Simon I love Simon we swim through the ocean together outrun sarcos, near the shore dive past megalodons, evade Cnidaria, and even swim by basilos, but I have yet to find him again I lost him once and just found him again I began to tame a basilo but as I was doing it I drowned right before reaching the surface Simon rocketed forward as I fell off and I haven’t found him since 1 like equals one wish for Simon to return #findsimontoday
